We shared an entree, a salad and a dessert. The wait staff had the kitchen split the food on separate plates! Very thoughtful! The salmon, beet salad and chocolate pot were delicious!

Not enough servers. I had to ask for one. Then I got caffeinated coffee even though I had requested decaffeinated. My heart was having palpitations after drinking it.

The music really diminished the vibe. Everything else was great.

We ordered the tomato soup, clam chowder, beet salad, and the burger, all of which were excellent. However I also had the lobster toast which was disappointing. It was very heavy on the mayo and vegetable fillers and hardly any lobster at all. For $32 it was way overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend that particular dish but everything else we had was good.

Took 30 minutes to get our first drink order. Hour in forgot appetizer. Wagyu A5 was at best a sirloin. 4 scallops were cold. Steak Frites looked and tasted like ground chuck. Lobster pasta had few flavorless frozen lobster pieces that were hard and sinewy like scraps from chicken. Family of 4 over $260.
Beautiful, modern space but pretending this is fine food when it should be a hotel bar, is deceiving. Not waiters fault— he was at mercy of kitchen— which was awful. Too many places in New Haven—and I hate when you’re told lobster or waygu and you’re clearly trying to deceive your client-base.

We had a really nice breakfast! Street parking, so that’s luck of the draw if you’re driving. Food was delicious, but the options were extremely limited and the portions aren’t huge for the prices. Wait staff was very nice, but service time was pretty slow, and the food didn’t come out steaming hot… All in all, a lovely experience but we’ll keep looking for our go-to breakfast spot.
