I dined here last night, and I appreciate the experience I gained with such an attentive and polite staff welcoming us into their cozy and warm ambience of the restaurant. The food was exceptional: all the flavors and quality really stood out to me. I hope to be coming back here soon, hopefully, multiple times.

Hidden Gem! The hospitality was top notch. I’m not sure which was better…the service or food. They complimented each other and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

If you're a foodie, you will not be satisfied here. If you're going for optics, you will find it cool. The quality was not good, service started out good then the guy forgot half of our order starting from the drinks to the food- messing up the experience. The way the pasta was cooked was about the only good thing in terms of the food. The meat used is very cheap and fatty. the seafood was poached- raw not grilled. Pappardelle with wagyu beef was- idek i felt sick after eating the meat. The rigatoni had little flavor in the sauce. Bruschetta was fairly good other than the fact the vegetables were cut so large you had to cut it; by time you got to the bread it was soggy. For an $800 check we were extremely disappointed for 4 of us. The menu is kind of all over the place. There was 1 chef & no manager on scene. We are also restaurant owners; read the reviews on this place and thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt- sometimes you need to listen to those reviews because we agree with them. This place has the potential to be something beautiful but is ways off to becoming that.

This spot has been on me and the wife’s radar fir sometime abd her birthday was perfect to opportunity to go! Location is in the up and redeveloped Arts District in LA. Converted warehouse now has massive bar at one end with huge chandelier. Open kitchen allows full view of prep. Our server Bella was personable, kind and attentive. Drinks are unique and poured/mixed well. Food is EXCEPTIONAL. While the 3 year aged cheese wheel pasta served tableside is phenomenal its pricey versus most of the entrees and pasta so you have been warned. That said, its a signature dish, well worth the price and the serving experience is memorable! Wife had the Parpadelle pasta with truffle and shrimp. I had the Smoked Lambchops with Tuffle Risotto. Both entrees were ample sized and prepared perfectly. Dessert was a simple Cheesecake with Raspberry sauce and fresh fruit. Good but not outstanding. Also note to Exec Chef. You guys have GOT TO DO a Tiramisu. Italian restaurant of this caliber with NO Tiramisu yeah thats a miss. Ill be back to Hearts and Flame for sure but hopefully by then Tiramisu will sideline the Cheesecake as the Starting Dessert!

The food was good but I was disappointed in the service. We went on a Sunday night and the restaurant was not very full. We were immediately sat and the waiter took our drink and appetizer order quickly. Unfortunately we wanted a long time for a waiter to come back and take our entree order. The waiter was nice but seemed new. Another waitress kept coming by to help him. Our entrees were also brought out at different times. My friends pasta got cold while waiting for my lamb chops to come out. The Honey cake was outstanding.

The service and ambiance were great. The food was below average. The wheel pasta was tasteless and so as the truffle, so disappointed for the price. The Caesar salad was basic also. The drink was great. I guess instagram does what it does the best. promoting beautiful places. Definitely not going back.

It was underwhelming. Beautiful restaurant. The food was subpar, each dish we had had some type of issue. The bruschetta was ok but way too salty. The cheese wheel Cacio e Pepe was watery so it muted the flavor. Lamb wasn't bad but it was also too salty and the risotto had a muted flavor. Finally the scallops were ok but a bit overdone and the risotto in this also had a muted flavor. The food just wasn't flavorful. My friends had drinks and they were way too sweet. Overall underwhelmed. Wouldn't go back. Nothing was repeat worthy.
