   If the hostesses are any indication of how the food would be, you'd walk out. That was the one sour note on what otherwise was a wonderful dining experience. I have been a hostess myself so understand the pressure that comes with it. I greeted them with a smile but barely had any acknowledgement beyond seating us at our table. Hopefully it was an off day for the both of them. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. I had the shrimp and scallop scampi. It was amazing. Delicious, buttery, well seasoned with a hint of heat. The mango margarita was also delicious blended with actual mango. The others in my party shared equal enjoyment in their meals. The chocolate cake is decadent but yummy. Enough to share between 4 people. I had a poor experience booking a Christmas eve reservation. I had to call and make sure my reservation was correct when I was told that they would not be open at the time of my reservation. Had I not called to let them know the text reminder was wrong on my reservation I wonder if they would have called to correct that. With that interaction I was cautious on how the dining experience would be. I'm happy to report that beside the reservation mix up and the sour hostesses, it was a wonderful experience.

   I went for brunch. The food was okay, not terrible but not great. The pancake was kind of chewy and not hot when it came out. I also got the eggs benedict and the English muffin was thick and chewy, it was really difficult to cut through. The poached egg was done perfectly. I also got the spicy bloody mary which was okay, nothing to write home about. I usually only come for dinner and will probably keep it that way. Brunch was subpar compared to their dinner. It was very noisy, making it hard to hear the server and my counterpart that came to visit. Regarding service/the server, she was lovely. Very kind, attentive, and even helped accommodate a change to the order. The service at Hazelwood is always excellent, hence why I was a tad disappointed in the food...perhaps it was a bad day or something!

   Awesome place never dissapointed the steak wasnt cooked right and had to be cooked 3 times but honestly they are still a 5 star experience. The manager came out to smooth things over. Exellent service. We'll be back!

   Have always been pleased with the food and cocktails at Hazelwood. The only thing I would comment about negatively is that my dish was $10 more than everybody else’s, but smaller than everybody else’s. Parmesan crusted walleye. All the food and appetizers were absolutely incredible though. The cocktails were as well. A perfect place to meet friends and expect to have good food and drink no matter what you order.

   Great food and good service. The brie cheesecurds were delicious and the brussel sprouts were done perfectly.

    Food was delicious! Monkey bread, avocado toast and the gouda hash browns were delicious! Our food came out before our drinks was the only bleh thing.
