   This is my 5th or 6th visit to this restaurant. When we checked in Hostess stated even though I requested upstairs dining over a week ago on reservation that Upstairs was booked. I go upstairs & talk to Hostess and they seated us at table upstairs. Why was downstairs hostess rude = almost in an argument with her over stating could not accommodate us upstairs = several tables open & when we left at 9:30= almost entire restaurant empty. My steak was good but not worth coming back for when others have great steaks (Pappas, Cap.Grille, Vic/anthony. The appetizer board with Queso, fried tomatoes, 2 elk tacos & fried onion rings = QUESO very good, elk tacos lukewarm & needed sauce, Fried tomatoes Boring/NO flavor. The Server was Very Good = I’d give him 5stars. We were there 12/17=Tuesday. Restaurant upstairs Is Beautiful but unless food IS better & hot items not lukewarm, hostess service is patron Friendly/accommodating= 2nd visit with hostess stating restaurant fully booked when it wasn’t & this time even though we had reservation!, well this place will not make it, if changes are not made. I wanted this place to be our neighborhood “Go To” especially for HappyHour = need more appetizers, delete your boring fried tomatoes, add sauce to tacos, etc..

   We have been here multiple times and absolutely loved it. After having such good service and food the previous times we decided to go today as a business lunch, I added on the notes it was a business lunch an important meeting, we ordered apps 38 minutes it took, everyone around us ordered after and had food then we finally got our food app was great but our meals absolutely cold and not good at all. We told our server and he did nothing about it at all.

   The portion size for the redfish was disrespectfully small worst than a kid plate, I left still very hungry!

   The place itself was nice. I can’t give my opinion about the food because unfortunately my party of 4 never received our food😏. I had a reservation for 5:15pm, I made it to the restaurant 10 min prior, order the food and waited for an extreme amount of time. At 6:25 I ask for a manager because we were waiting for a hour already. The manager went to check still no good unfortunately we all got up and left at 6:45 due to me having another engagement to attend for 7:30pm.. 🤨 I wish it would have turned out differently 🥹

   Food tastes great. Staff and kitchen need more training to get the timing of serving each course right. Counted 5 spills/drops during our lunch.

    This was our first time at Haywire and the food was delicious! We were with friends and everyone loved the food!!! The service was very disappointing…I’m not sure if our server was having a bad night or if something was going on personally but he was pretty much absent to where we had to flag down another server to inquire about our drinks and place our order. Another server (or maybe it was a manager) took our order and get our drinks to us. The few times our server did interact with us it was not very friendly or personable at all. However, because we did enjoy the food a lot we will definitely be back and hopefully have better service next time!
