   After visiting Hawthorne Grill, a number of times, I found out that seasonally they change menus depending on the season. The weight staff was great and the ambience was acceptable for having the number of patrons that they had, I was just a little disappointed with the choices on the menu. The menu this season seems to lack, although the choices that we made were cooked quite well. Mabe check the menu before visiting, I was hoping and craving something that was apparently on last season’s menu. Overall an very nice establishment and worth a visit.

   French onion soup is outstanding. Crab cake was excellent(had them leave the poached egg off). Filet was tender, baked potato was large enough to share. Service is always friendly and excellent.

   The restaurant is very nice and was practically empty. Unfortunately, our waiter was not attentive. We both ordered the filets and they were on the wrong plates. The one ordered medium was quite undercooked, but the waiter wasn't around to check on us so we decided to go ahead and eat. When he finally asked if we wanted to send it back we were halfway through. The house salad was good but the wedge salad was mediocre. The employees were hanging out in the restaurant and were talking pretty loud throughout the meal. We expected a better experience.

   Always an exceptional experience at Hawthorne. The food is top-notch and the service is like old Vegas used to be. Truly gourmet experience.

   Beef tartare got me sick and the ribeye was overcooked and very tough. Did not eat it. Send it back. Take it off my bill, please
