Very disappointed. Langoustine scampi not on the menu( we only go for that) despite showing as on the menu online. My daughter only ate sides as nothing else that she really liked on the menu. Offered a free starter which was ok. I ordered filet steak but it was chewy and too much salt crust. Bernaise sauce was the best bit. It was also over an hour before we actually got any food! The bill was £166 which only included I glass of Prosecco . Service charge was £18.50. Overall very disappointing visit and definitely not value for money.

Beautiful only downside they had run out of lobster at 7pm one of the reasons we wanted to go, the steak however was amazing and our waiter was very attentive!

Fantastic service. Daughter is coeliac, waiting staff were fab with helping with this. Good clear selection of GF choices, separate fryer used where appropriate. There was no GF dessert she wanted so without asking, the waiter brought her some GF chocolates. Such a thoughtful kind touch. Food was lovely especially the desserts. I had hake for my main, and I have had better, but it’s a steak restaurant. Son and husband had steak with they said was great.

Absolutely fantastic meal,,,, couldn't fault anything about our meal but,,,, found it very poor that there was no dress code of any description regarding the waiting staff! Dirty training shoes, casual clothing etc ,they were all very pleasant and polite but they were certainly not dressed nicely in any way,,,more suited to a wetherspoons! Will definitely be back for sure but seriously think there needs to be some sort of dress code for the waiting staff.

The steaks were outstanding - sirloin and rib eye. Cooked perfectly, and a generous size. The choice of steaks was excellent as well as other main course dishes. Side orders of spinach, garlic mushrooms, and fries were spot on. The starters of scallops were excellent. However, the desserts were somewhat disappointing- obviously brought in and no better than ones from a decent supermarket. Plus a pet peeve - why such a paltry portion of custard with the apple pie? It happens a lot in restaurants. The apple pie and sticky toffee pudding had obviously been microwaved - another pet peeve. The ambience was great - nice and busy even for a Tuesday January evening. Lovely large space with well laid out tables. It felt classy and sophisticated. We would definitely return and recommend, and it was the best steak we have had in Edinburgh, but would skip the desserts.
