   Went for my partners birthday , put a special request for a table a little bit on our own but they put us right in the middle of a group on either side . Didn’t bring out sauces with mains yet put them on the bill , nothing special no little happy birthday or little cake as requested , was really let down with the service as I was not given the correct cuttary for surf and turf and fillet steak was overcooked bill was 160 euro . Not happy at all .

   Great experience. Had a cocktail in the bar before being escorted to our table. Oysters to start followed by a sharing chateaubriand. Great service.

   Disappointing dinner. We flew into Dublin from Dubai for the weekend and had book Hawksmoor after seeing it rated in the Top 100 Steaks list. We were a group of four arrive for our 6:45pm reservation to be told our table was not ready. We waited 15 minutes to be seated. During this time we were offered an alternative table to have a drink however were not served till 7. A waiter brought over water and asked if we wanted any drinks. Fine to wait but the fact it took 14 minutes before someone even came to take a drink order is not ok. We were then moved to a table by the door. A bit disappointed as we thought we would be in the restaurant not the bar area, especially after making the reservation more than a month in advance. We ordered our food starting with bread and butter. We were a group of four and only three slices of bread arrived. We ordered another, which never arrived. Our server was busy with other tables but never once came to check on us once the food was delivered. We all ordered steaks of which mine was over cooked and had to be sent back. My husband had to flag down another server to send ours over, who apologized and sent the steak back. I ordered a salad and got buttered green. I asked for more water and it was only served on the third time I asked. Two of the guests ordered dessert but were not brought cutlery. They had to flag down yet another server. I was left very disappointed especially given its high rating. My Second steak was good but not amazing. We felt service was lacking. We have a booking for Hawksmoor in Edinburgh in February and will definitely be cancelling.

   Sat at the bar area , no atmosphere , service shocking , dinner took ages to arrive and when it did it was cold , absolute disaster but they kindly removed the bloody Fanta off the bill which was fine but not the €100 steak which was cold !!!!!

   Cocktails fab, service great. Food ok, steaks (rib eyes) a bit disappointing - not charred and very salty. Sides yum.

   A breath of fresh air Excellent attentive service I admired the staff I had quick lunch potted beef with Yorkshire puddings It was so good I’m from Yorkshire and am a bit of an expert making these they were really good gravy excellent Main course steak and chips good My first visit and I look forward to returning Well done to all team Paul Homan

    Setting is beautiful with a nice atmosphere. Our drinks, starters and sides were great but sadly the steaks were not. We both ordered a filet medium rare. We received mediums which were dry. I guess if you ordered a sauce you might not notice it but being a steak restaurant with a significant price tag it was a little disappointing. The staff were all friendly and efficient and I loved the seasonal cocktail menu.
