    Gorgeous space and good service; but the food was a total letdown. My steak was terribly overcooked, same for my friend’s burger. It’s a steak place so they had one job, and failed.

    Second time to Hawksmore, very disappointing experience. Staff offhand to the point of being rude. We waited 25 minutes for pre-dinner drinks which never arrived, bathrooms in poor condition. Decided to leave before the evening was completely ruined.  For a Resturant of this calibre I would expect more.

    Drinks before meal were lovely, then we were seated, there was a draft at our table. Starter beef tartar was delicious, main course came under cooked, sent it back and then it was fine. Waitress was lovely.

    Disappointing meal for the price. Room cool with draught from ventilation. Crab starter small for €19. Scallops salty. Steaks good. Steaks and sides warm but could do with being hotter. Prime rib from blackboard for 2 people €130. Burger over powered with mustard on the bun which is not listed on menu. Too much salt on chips. Service is good but for a €400 meal and setting of the room it is surprising that the staff are dressed casually.

    Really enjoyed our time at Hawksmoor. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was just right. We only had time for a quick bite but the food options were good and the value was excellent. We'll be back. Thank you.

    The surf and turf was gorgeous, thw lobster was not overly done in butter like most places, cooked so well - we were really impressed especially round the busy Christmas season, the med rare filet steaks were crusted on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside again super impressed, the sides were top notch (fries, mc & cheese and garlic mushrooms) ... starters were so large and the tastes were gorgeous crab 10/10. Desserts were fabulous and presented Powell. The staff tho, from start to finish were AMAZING, they really make the place what it is, from the bar man, to the waiters, all were so good, defo will be back for the surf & tuff alone. Thanks all for a fabulous birthday meal for my hubby.
