   Busy Monday evening at Hawksmoor, no doubt encouraged by the Monday BYO option which most diners seemed to be taking advantage of. Decent meal, though my “medium rare” fillet was more like “medium/ well”. Never mind, I couldn’t be bothered to complain, and everyone else’s was fine.

   First time ever that they overcooked my food, for a steak that costs over £100 inexcusable and a waste of money, but they rectified it and had a great time, I have always recommended Hawksmoor, but maybe slightly hesitant next time to do so, I hope they are not becoming too commercial, never had this experience at Blacklock or Temper or Borough Hawksmoor, please do not let this become the norm <3

   It was mother's day in London. I get it. Made reservations for 5:15 for the Sunday Roast. Took 15 min for server to come by only to basically tell us Sunday Roast ends at 5. (No where did I read this). Then said there's 8 left if we want to hurry and order now. Then he said his shift is over and someone else would be taking over. Food just ok. Overall just an ok experience.

   We had heard that the roast was so good here so of course we wanted to try it out! It was a major disappointment I had to send my meat back after telling how well to do it , I had to return stuffing as it had meat in and my son doesn’t eat meat and we wasn’t told about this . All Yorkshire’s was burnt . And everything went cold so fast ! The 3 potatoes yoy get was rock hard too and the smallest amount of gravy aswell! Absolutely never going again!

   That was the best roast I’ve had in London, I’ve been to Hawksmoor before but never for Sunday lunch and I’ll definitely be back!

   Food was gorgeous, staff attentive, cocktails were divine and setting lovely. . It was a combined 18th birthday and Mothers' Day treat which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

   Prompt service despite restaurant full ( mother day so lots of tables of families with mums !) steak cooked to perfection . Often eat there when I am in London feel very comfortable as a solo female diner .

   We went for a birthday dinner at the Air Street branch and whilst the food was delicious, we found the ambience to be quite loud and more of a cafe vibe rather than an exquisite steak restaurant which it left us very disappointed and completely ruined the experience. On the booking, I’ve requested a little desert with Happy Birthday written on it but we didn’t receive it at all. Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience at this particular branch and we won’t be coming back again for sure. The other branches are much better and they offer a more of an intimate environment rather than a cafe type.

    Great waiter that was knowledgeable about the differences between USA and UK nomenclature when it came to ordering certain dishes. Everything worked out great. Would definitely go back.
