    Fall in love again at Hau Tree with a special 4 course meal. No other menus will be available that day. Valentine’s Day menu is 125 plus tax and gratuity. Credit card required to secure reservation. Cancellations less than 72 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of 60 per person; no show reservations will be subject to a charge of 125 per person. Menu is subject to change at any time due to availability of fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, due to the style of offerings, we are unable to accommodate menu adjustment requests.

    Wonderful dinner and great menu referrals by the waiter….the hidden gem was the fried eggplant with yogurt sauce underneath….i could have had that as a meal! The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious….The Hau Tree ambience is the best in Waikiki!

    Service was fine. Coffee smelled burnt and cream/sugar could not fix. We ordered green tea instead which we weren’t charged for. Loco moco could have been much better if there was at least a trace of salt, but it was very bland. Rice was mushy and not cooked properly. The salmon benedict had a great flavor, but unfortunately came out cold along with the loco moco. The Hau Tree bar experience/food was much better.

    We are from North Carolina, but Hau Tree restaurant is one restaurant we are always sure to visit when in Honolulu and has been for years. Great food, friendly and attentive staff, and perfect setting.

    The service was great and we had a great waitress. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we got a free dessert and it was great! The truffle sausage pasta was great and the steak. Right on the beach and it’s beautiful.

    I booked a 6:00 PM lanai oceanside table two weeks in advance, but it wasn’t ready upon arrival. After a long wait and missed sunset, I was seated at a subpar table. Poor management ruined the experience despite staff efforts. Disappointing visit—I won’t recommend or return.
