Service and food very average, the meal was rushed and we were continually told our table was booked for more guests even though I spent £494. If I hadn't been with business clients i would not have left the Tip, but preferred not to make a scene. The wine was nice.

Loved the beef pasta, and the fried calamari. Aranchini and truffle pasta were good but the pasta portion was insanely little. And finally The mushroom sweet is A MUST

Service extremely poor Staff rushed the whole dinner. Asked for side plates and one staff didn’t bring them and just chatted with another staff member for ages, another said no and we had to say that we wanted them for our starter as we were sharing!!! So rude and weird. I had not even finished my dinner and they went to remove my plate. Toilets are poor with hardly any soap etc. Clockroom experience was stressful with being left in the door way in the way for ages on both entry and exit. Food not very warm. Would not go back.

Great food and great atmosphere! However we were told the table was only booked for an hour and a half which is apparently standard in this place, so everything was rushed, to the extent we were offered a dessert menu after our mains but before the menu came we were told by the waitress to pay the bill immediately. I asked to speak to the manager mainly to ask why the rush, who explained the hour and a half rule which seemed ridiculous to me was restaurant policy, no worries rules are rules I guess and apparently it's detailed in the booking so if I missed it then fair pay; so if you are going to book just be prepared for that. I guess my main concern came from the managers attitude when I raised the fact that we had been told to get ready the 3rd course (desserts) only to then be told we must pay up regardless of having our drinks still not finished. Appreciated the manager took our drinks and offered us seats at the bar but I just expected at least an apology rather than and I quote 'well it's a communication' issue. Honestly I've never written a review before and like i said the food and atmosphere was delightful; but this whole episode just left a sour taste in my mouth.

We were very underwhelmed yesterday after our great experience last time. The service was very slow!! Our meals arrived before our drinks and we noticed the same happened for the table next to us. My husband’s steak, ordered cooked to medium, arrived cooked well-done. My pasta arrived warm, not hot, and when i replied yes that I would like Parmesan cheese, the waitress never returned with it. When the manager or lead person (she was directing everyone else) came to remove our plates, she asked how our meals were; my husband replied ‘fine’. She said, “fine isn’t great” and then walked away, seemingly uninterested in our reasons. Apparently she didn’t pass the information to our waitress, or if she did, she never inquired why we thought the meals weren’t “great”. Given Harry’s reputation, the included gratuity, and our previous experience, we left wondering if we would go again in the future.

I went on a Thursday for my birthday dinner. Was disappointed at the onset considering I had booked for 7 people and they had only arranged for 6 (despite them calling me to confirm and me having to confirm on open table too) Then we had to ask for a drinks menu and normal menus, waited 30/45 mins to even order our drinks and even then, we had to ask if we can order. They weren’t that busy. I’ve been to Harry’s before with my partner only and it was amazing.z unsure what was going on today. Food didn’t come hot and the waiter was quite rude when my friend said she cannot eat egg. We had asked 3 different waiters for an extra wine glass and didn’t get it until the third. Severely disappointed and service charge was £34 which I had to take off. I was asked why as well… service was poor, staff unfriendly and patronising and it was my birthday!!… Unsure if I’d go again and if I had the same service I would speak to the manager.

Appalling service as was asked to vacate the table after 1.5 hours and had to finish our desert perched on a cramped bar. It’s sad that restaurants feel they can use customers as cash machines. I will never be going back to Harry’s ever and will be writing a formal complaint. This behaviour ruined what would have been a mediocre meal…
