    Jimmy was an excellent server. He was thorough and knowledgeable of the menu items. He was very personable. The food was excellent! Absolutely delicious. The drinks were just ok but everything else was perfect!

    I made a reservation for our wedding anniversary about a month ago, so was disappointed to arrive right on time and be sat in what was arguably the worst seat in the house (next to a column, in the pathway near the kitchen and bathroom). But the hostess was understanding and we managed to find a perfect seat at the bar, instead. The waitstaff seemed slightly... distracted. The restaurant was incredibly busy - making us know we made the right choice! - but several people had to be reminded of what we ordered. The dozen raw oysters were fantastic, although a few could have been shucked more thoroughly to ensure easy eating. The chowder and the lobster bisque were both good, but had a high broth to meat ratio and lacked salt (I had to ask for salt separately, which I don't like to do at this type of restaurant). The shrimp and grits was really delicious, but the salad I ordered (something bright and crisp against the backdrop of the creamy grits) lacked being special in any way and again, needed seasoning. I wanted to desert, but didn't feel compelled to order anything on the menu, and opted for an espresso instead. Overall, we really did have a nice experience. I loved the vibe and the ambience, but wish I would have selected a different night to have a more personal and intimate experience.

    Amazing service! The special was halibut with fried parsley, puréed squash and succotash. Sounded interesting and BLEW our minds. It was out of this world! The she crab soup was just perfect. Mussels and fried oysters fabulous. Even the coffee was a decadent treat paired with delicious bread pudding topped with banana gelato and cherries. It was such a surprise and so glad this was recommended to us by friends. We had no idea it was even in Columbus! Please go try it! Five stars to the Chef and our server, Allie! We will be back!

    Beautiful place compared to the one in Charleston….at a cost. Very over priced for the food. It was good but not $48 for 12 raw oysters good. Tables are small. Restrooms are very clean. Hostess was kind as can be. Waiter was good not great. Service was very quick so eat quickly to make room on your table.

    This place was great! Peaceful environment. Great service. We had a large party and everything was so smooth. Had the open face crab melt and it was super delicious. Also had some calamari, oysters (which were super yummy!) shrimp, and the lump crab cake appetizer in lemon sauce. Everything was so delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.
