   Delicious brunch! We got the lemon ricotta pancakes to split and they were divine so fluffy and delicious. The quiche Lorraine was impeccable.

   Booked for my daughters birthday, got first round of drinks 20 min apart making a toast hard, bus boys seemed stoned or anti-social and were put off by asking for more water bc we hadn’t seen our waitress. Don’t ask if we are celebrating something if you don’t care. Happy hour specials are good but don’t be disappointed for going for something special, they can’t deliver on elevated service.

   11 AM Sunday January 19th. The restaurant is very nice. I had a 11 Am reservation. I arrived a few minutes early and was seated right away. The food was great, except the toast was rock hard...tasted stale. But, everything else was very good. High quality service. Highly recommend, make sure to make a reservation.

   The food was good but our waitress took 20 min to take our order and 10 min to bring us our drinks. We also asked for Tabasco sauce and ketchup which was not brought to us until after we finished our meal.

   Hanks was one of our favorite Austin restaurants and we’re sad that it has seemingly gone down hill over the last 6 months. The servers do not seem to care about their customer experience what so ever, when historically the quality of service was one of the reasons we continued to come back. The food is still good and the lower key ambience is great. I’m not sure that those categories outweigh the negative demeanor of the service.

    Lovely day on the patio with my parents and foster dog! Everyone was very nice and accommodating and the food was delicious!
