   If you are looking for top-tier, unforgettable sushi, look no further! From the moment I took my first bite, I could tell this restaurant prioritizes freshness and quality above all else. The fish was incredibly fresh, with flavors that were vibrant and pure. Each piece was carefully crafted right in front of you balancing texture, taste, and presentation. The spicy tuna hand roll was absolutely outstanding, with perfectly seasoned rice that complemented the delicate, buttery fish. The nigiri was excellent as well, the presentation and friendliness of staff made the experience even better. Beyond the sushi, the atmosphere was live and inviting. The service was attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear this place takes pride in every detail, from the sourcing of ingredients to the delivery of the food. If you’re a sushi lover, this spot is an absolute must visit. It is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared!

   Excellent hand rolls. We went with the chef’s choice and were not disappointed. We also ordered the shrimp appetizer and it was delicious.

   Unfortunately this place was all hype, zero delivery. It was freezing inside, I was told my party of two could not sit at the sushi bar bc it was full, - there was over a dozen seats open the entirety of our meal. We ordered the shishito peppers and half were raw and cold and the other half was burnt and bitter. We sent them back. The sunomono salad was cucumber, chunks of seaweed and water, it was terrible and the hand rolls we got were 95% rice with little to no fish, at $9-$13 each. Our server never checked on us, we had to wave her down for help… I try to be more patient and open minded about experiences like this, but everything was just so thoughtless, I wanted to let others know. Stick with Takashi.

   Amazing experience! Highly recommend! The hand rolls were great and the fish was of top-notch quality. Appetizers (Rock shrimp and crispy rice) were excellent as well! Dessert was a can’t miss!

   My partner and I visited HandoSake for a midday lunch to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is so beautifully designed, spacious, and incorporates lots of modern stone elements that makes the experience feel high end, and welcoming. The staff were warm and attentive, which made the experience feel really special. We enjoyed the bar seating and had friendly conversations with the chefs, and chatted about the menu and the various ingredients. We ordered appetizers and handroll combos. My favorite was the yellowtail handroll with jalepenos and ponzu, as well as the negitoro handroll. Don't skip on the dessert either; the matcha creme brule is something I'll dream of later. The food quality was excellent. The fish was fresh and generously portioned, and the appetizers and dessert were beautifully plated. Everything we tried was delicious, and we left feeling super satisfied. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. HandoSake is a great place for both casual dining and special occasions.

   Excellent experience all around. Atmosphere is hip without being pretentious. Service from host, server and sushi chef was impeccable: attentive and inquisitive without being obtrusive. And the food was incredible. We sampled the shishito peppers, wonton tacos and spicy tuna crispy rice as well as the bluefin and salmon handrolls. All the fish was fresh and flavorful. Each item was right sized and tasty without being overly sauced. Will absolutely return.

    Good food and a unique setting and presentation. It seems to be new and the staff are still finding their groove. The space seems too big, too open for the targeted dining experience, but that could just be personal preference.
