   1. Waiter was overly apologetic about being short-staffed. Fine but a reservation was made. If you cannot accommodate more people, put others on waitlist so ensure we had a great dining experience, especially since we traveled to your establishment and arranged for a date night. 2. One entre came out and we were done with it by the time the other entree came out 30 minutes later. A restaurant of this caliber should have the timing down. Then, it took over 40 minutes for a handroll which was ordered as an appetizer and came out as a dessert! The handrolls were inconsistent with one having some ingredients the exact same handroll did not! 3. The check had charges on it that we had to bring up and waiter expressed he knew but had to ring up so the chef would provide him with the food. A lot of internal issues going on this night. Should not be our problem. Charges should have been taken off without us having to embarrassingly point them out. 4. We seeked this restaurant out based on food quality and service. It did not stand out. Perhaps a bad night but didn't want to hear about the servers being overworked. This was a night away from kids complaining!!! Very bad night out. Disappointed. 5. We missed a reservation we had after this meal because were there so long. Waiter had a party ordering multiple orders of Wagu and let us know their check was over $700. So perhaps our little check was not a priority. I felt bad for the waiter, but our experience should not have been compromised. A waiter across the way was apologizing for being out of breath. What is going on here??? Lot of complaining from staff, so what do you expect from patrons? 6. It seems our experience does not correspond to the great reviews. I wish we had a great experience, but I think we could have gone to a boring chain restaurant and been treated better.

   Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and a great value. Sushi was half the price of our place back home in the SF Bay Area! Dishes were beautifully prepared. We stopped in for a quick bite at the counter before heading back to Disneyland. My mother-in-law loved the Unagi so much, we came back the following day for dinner.

    Lovely dinner of sushi and sashimi. German took fantastic care of us, providing great recommendations from the menu.
