   The meal was very good but the salad and dessert was not. I got the wedge salad and the lettuce were brown. I ate around it. I got the scallops with polenta. It was a small portion, but perfect for me. We shared the bread pudding, which is something we always order if we see it on a menu. This bread pudding was not good. It was dry and tasteless. Bread pudding is made with stale bread but when it’s made right the bread is moistened and sweetened so that it is full of flavor. This dessert tasted like stale bread. Such a shame because it’s an easy dessert to make. This is a good restaurant and I’ve been several times. I have found that quality fluctuates and it misses the mark on a dish or two each time we go.

    Always a delicious meal with friendly service. We ate in the dining room behind the bar on the first floor and it was a lovely experience. Nice and bright and not too loud. The brussel sprouts appetizer and pork chops are must haves!
