   Lovely food! We were celebrating the holidays and it was a fantastic experience. Every dish was full of flavor, delicious and authentic.

   Great food, drinks, and good service during our stay. Surprised to see there’s happy hours on weekends too. Ate a ton and enjoyed ourselves for staff dinner. Deduction of service for friends of ours as well as wife and her friend on a separate occasion. During happy hour, they falsely noted to them it’s only for bar seating so they moved them! This is a blatant lie as everyone around us and ourselves seated ordered from happy hour menu as well as regular menu. Not sure if this is directive of owner/management or just the service staff fib- things like this will leave a bad taste in otherwise a fine establishment.

   Just had a wonderful birthday dinner at HaiSous. The standout for me was the octopus salad, the coconut milk and eggplant played perfectly together with the octopus. The charred eggplant was also fabulous, as were the emperor noodles. Highly recommend hitting up happy hour from 4:00-5:30 so you can try tons of $10 plates and cocktails. Will be returning.

   So glad we finally tried this place! The food was amazing. Some highlights were the Brown Butter Prawns, the Brussel Sprouts, and the Chicken Wings. Other than the food, our dining experience wasn’t great. We came in on a whim around 5:45 with no reservation, after having checked OpenTable on the drive over and seeing there were plenty of times available to reserve. The hostess informed us though, while looking at a completely empty dining room, that we will have to sit at the bar if we don’t have a reservation because they’re fully booked. This didn’t make sense to me because I was able to open my phone and make a reservation right then for 6pm. So we did and approached her again showing we now have a reservation. She didn’t seem too happy about this, but sat us and told us we the need the table back within the next hour and a half… which is fine. Then, we had some really great food, but our server was oddly inattentive. He took our drink order, our food order, and then he didn’t check in for our entire meal until we were asking for the check and a to go box. The dining room was still fairly empty for most of our meal, mind you. Anyways, definitely worth the visit for the food, not sure if the service was an isolated incident.

   We ordered the chef's tasting menu. Great value and delicious food. We each had a cocktail to begin. Both were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. One of our dishes was taking a while to come out. A server came by to explain that it was going to be a bit delayed, and we were offered two dishes on the house as compensation for the wait. Highly recommend for a delightful night out.

   Food quality was ok. I've had better Vietnamese food at hole in the walls. Service was spotty, hostess was rude. She asked us to leave because there was another party waiting but the restaurant has partially empty.

    first courses were outstanding Warm oysters and  the best thing on the menu octopus salad!! ( I would definitely go and have that at their bar a glass of wine. It was outstanding.  The skate was terribley disappointing like a chicken nugget and a piece of lettuce.  think they were trying to make it a wrap. fried rice  disappointing
