   We still go to Hadleys for convenience but on recent visits we have all commented that there appears to have been a change in management? Mingara generally appears to be constantly short of staff in the bar, cafe and restaurant. Food quality and size of servings is less consistent. The menu has been reduced and there were no specials offered on our last visit in Hadley’s. We’ve experienced much longer delays in getting our meals and at times had orders missed and/or entrees served with mains. We acknowledge that if the Members Draw jackpot is high that the club gets very busy but these same issues occur regardless of whether the club is busy or not. And in the past when busy, the club was staffed accordingly . We’ve not raised this with the staff or management who serve on the floor as they are all doing the best they can and don’t deserve to have to deal with complaints. This is an issue for senior management who are cutting costs. Maybe it’s related to the construction of the hotel? But Members have noticed and are choosing to visit less often or order defensively now and reduce spend when we do visit. Cost of living should not be blamed - it’s the consistently poor offer that is reducing our spend. Dropping standards and service to cut costs is short-sighted and will impact the bottom line of the club long-term.

   Very nice dinner. Meals were very nice as usual, service was great and atmosphere was vibrant. We had the prok belly and Barramundi for mains.

   We were a group of 4 friends who get together every 6 months or so. Today we met at Hadley's. We want good food and a good atmosphere so we can catch up on happenings in our lives. We were very pleased with our lunch today. The food was good, the staff were obliging without being in our face. All in all, we were very pleased.

   I brought my family to celebrate my birthday. We had a booking for 12 people. We found the restaurant very small compared to what it used to be. The large empty area near the toilet area in the back is such a waste of space. There’s no ambience in the restaurant, it’s more like a cafeteria, pumping the food out. The service was very slow. The empty plates sat on our table for a long period and one of our guests didn’t receive their order until everyone else had long finished their meal. The food quality and value for money is terrible. You could do so much better. I don’t think my family will be coming back to Hadleys and I definitely won’t be recommending Hadleys to anyone I know.

   Overall. We had a good time but missed the band this year for The Melbourne Cup. Our group loves dancing. Some of them Were not happy with the food they ordered. Service was great.

   Meals were cold with vegetables only par boiled with the carrots nearly raw. Booked our usual table but for the last 3 weeks were allocated another table. Not impressed.

   Nice surrouindings for a casual dinner. We chose to sit in the dining room where it was less noisy. Service was excellent. Good choice of food on the menu. The meals we chose were quite good, Hadley's chicken and Queensland prawns.

   The Hadley Three Band were awesome stayed until they finished and won see again. However very disappointed with food in Hadley's. Two of our meals came out and came out a 30 minutes later and the pizza somehow got missed. For a club that has everything else the food menu definitely let's it down.

    We had trouble ordering from the table link - Ryan though was extremely helpful working us through this. Our entree and main came at the same time - not acceptable , and there was no offer to rectify this by the waiter. We ordered pork belly and the brisket- both disappointing in flavour , texture and presentation. The pork belly was sliced , and tasted like it had been braised. Also small serving of pork, compensated with potato ( no mention of this on the menu) and the Asian greens were minimal, again compensated with the potato. The brisket was dry and tough. Side of chips and coleslaw were minimal. The dining experience was poor value for money and has left us thinking not to return , sad considering Mingara is a local for us.
