About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Good for business meals
  • Fancy
Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

We had an absolutely fantastic visit. From the moment I walked it I was warmly greatest. Then I brought to my table by a very polite gentleman our waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations. I ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 sides, there were only two of dining. You don’t need multiple sides. Every single dish was to die for. I will absolutely be back.

If you’re looking for an incredible steakhouse in Houston, Guard and Grace is a must. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting, the service is spot-on, and the food is top-tier. The steaks are perfectly cooked, the seafood is excellent, and even the Brussels sprouts are unforgettable. But the real star? The carrot cake. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly frosted—it’s hands down one of the best desserts in town. Whether it’s a date night, business dinner, or special occasion, Guard and Grace never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Service was amazing as usual. We tried the hanger steak this time and it was on point! The NY cut was a little disappointing. Not sure we’re fan of the baseball cut. Sides were to die for and drinks were delish.

The dining experience was great, but the front staff, especially the woman who had my assistant on hold for ten minutes, was rude.

This was our first time dining at G&G, it did not disappoint. Jonathan was very attentive and knowledgeable on the foods and drinks and kept us informed on status of food and drink orders. The vibe was awesome with a romantic atmosphere for our date. We will be back. Frank Z
