    We always enjoy doing tasting menus for special nights like New Year’s Eve and Valantine’s and want to put them on more often, so we came up with ‘Grey Mondays’. Always the last Monday of each month and always a great time. The menu is a shared 6-course set menu for $95 per person +tax and gratuity. You can expect a snack, crudo, vegetable, carb, protein, and dessert course. Thoughtful wine pairings will of course be available. Can’t wait to see you! Please leave us a note if you'd like a vegetarian or pescatarian menu or have any dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, vegan menus will not be available.

    I'd heard wonderful things, and was very excited to take an out-of-town guest for a friendly-business dinner to try it. We were six and seated at the lovely table in the front window of the restaurant. The 80s playlist was super fun, but the speaker was projecting directly at the table and was a little loud, making it difficult to have conversation amongst our party. The service staff were amiable and responsive to requests, including hanging coats and adjusting heat. As a party of six, we were allowed a prix fixe menu only. While the restaurant made a point of suggesting they were amendable to adjusting the offering to accommodate dietary restrictions, the dish selection and proportions didn't seem to reflect this in practice—of six people, two were pescatarian, yet in the main course, there was no increase to the fish dish and decrease to the meat dish—we had 8 pieces of chicken for 4 people. The appetizers were excellent (fresh bread and butter, smoked fish, and hiramasa) and the second course of a roasted eggplant dish and both a fish- and beef-based pasta dishes were decent. The main course was poor—a skate and mushroom dish where the fish texture was mushy and the dish was generally over-salted, and a roast chicken, creamed corn, and greens dish where the dark meat of the chicken was undercooked. We would have sent the dishes back to the kitchen, but there was no table check for this course. Our guests were more than once without a drink, and had difficulty flagging our server to order. Dessert was well-constructed and balanced, but it was clear the staff wanted to shut down for the evening, and we were not offered digestifs, etc. It seemed as though the service team were just a little too busy to deliver an overall excellent experience. Perhaps in a smaller party, or with bar seating, we would have had more personal attention, and a better dining experience with the a la carte menu.

    We sat at the bar and the bartender was delightful. She was knowledgeable and gracious. And she makes a fabulous martini! The chef is inventive too. Great experience!

    First, service was super relaxed and friendly, and I got some great recommendations. Second (and more importantly) the food was great! Highly recommend the leeks. Really enjoyed the bar seating - I love watching the cooks and got to ask some questions about preparation.

    Although my main dish wasn’t to my liking, the rest of the meal was very tasty and the service was really great. I’ve never had a sever that had such a fantastic smile. Would definitely go back. Walking around the neighbourhood looking for the restaurant was a bit disconcerning, it didn’t feel very safe walking alone.

    First time attending after thinking about going often. Had a wonderful time. A strong comprehensive vision is evident. We stumbled into an unexpected pleasant conversation with the gracious owner Jen on the way out.

    I can never say enough about GG. The ambience never misses, the service always warm and perfect, and the food is delicious and exciting - every time. There is a reason this remains one of my all time favorite spots for any occasion.

    Amazing dinner! We were there for the 8th edition of Grey Monday and were served an absolutely fabulous 6-course meal with wine pairings. Would definitely recommend!

    Excellent as always. Smoked trout dip, all the crudos (especially the beef tartare) and pastas are wonderful. Tuna bucatini stands out. The apple sorbet was also fantastic. Great service.
