Our favorite hidden gem in Southcenter. Mainstream italian-style food served by experienced and competent staff. All the standbys: various fresh-made pastas with well-chosen ingredients, a rack of lamb and various fish. I like the beef medallion dish, especially the "reduction". I asked to have lower-carb mushrooms substituted for the default pasta and they happily complied The dessert tray, from which you can select at your table after your meal, always includes a dozen or more of a wide variety of treats.Is this helpful?

One person at our table had excellent pasta. My gnocchi special was disappointing. It is hard to find gnocchi cooked well, but I thought an Italian restaurant would be my best bet. It was mushy. Also, the flavor of the sauce was not great either. My husband's gorgonzola sauce was just okay. Plus we were asked to leave before our one bottle of wine was even done and it was not even 10 yet. This was a Saturday night.Is this helpful?

Overall, a good experience. We ate an early dinner about 4pm so we had the place to ourselves. We ordered bread, calamari (fried), Caesar salad, Veal Marsala and the Pumpkin Ravioli. The main courses were fantastic but the calamari was surprisingly very bland. Absolutely no flavor except the sauce that accompanied it was tasty. In my opinion, the bread ( which is delicious )should be served warm with a side of garlic butter.Is this helpful?

Although nothing in the meal was out and out bad, a number of elements were simply not good enough to justify my just under $100 total expenditure for an entree, salad, glass of one of the house recommended wines and desert. Biggest issue was the salmon that arrived with my spaghetti tossed in oil with spinach. After asking for it to be slightly undercooked, it appeared to be almost deep fried with a crunchy browned exterior. Just a lot of oil everywhere. A minor charge but ridiculous expense for an Italian restaurant was being charged separately for an approximately 1 oz., condiment sized container of grated Parmesan that did not come automatically with my spaghetti. Our server was perfectly polite, easy to find when needed and able to provide what we requested. But for a meal not substantially better than Olive Garden quality, not worth it.Is this helpful?
