    Great New Year’s dinner experience! The special menu was fairly priced and the food was very good! We had some great cocktails too. I especially liked the key lime pie! The server was beyond excellent! He went above & beyond in making sure we enjoyed everything and took some amazing pictures of us on the staircase.

    Reservations for 3PM. Arrived and seated promptly. Placed our orders (keep in mind this was New Year’s day, restaurant was not crowded, and it was a limited menu). Received bread for the table at 4pm. Appetizers never came, ended up cancelling them at 4:15pm. Food was finally delivered 4:50pm. Some food was cold. Some food items ordered never arrived. Manager never checked on us. Totally disappointed. Server said they were over-staffed. Not sure what the issue was. Would not recommend unless it’s for the brunch buffet.

    Overall it was just fine. Some of our plates and glasses were dirty when we arrived. The food took quite a while after we ordered. We were there for almost three hours when we finished. We made a reservation for their New Year’s Day brunch buffet only to find out that they weren’t doing the buffet and it was a prefix menu. Which is fine if we knew in advanced, but we found out when we got to the restaurant. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. I'm not expected to be blown away at every restaurant I go to, but I was expecting a little more finesse. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but I was vastly underwhelmed and probably won't go back. There are way more impressive restaurants in Pittsburgh.

    The food was more than horrible. The waitress took my husband‘s plate away before he was done eating. She was gone for 20 minutes so when she came back, we told her she took his food. She mysteriously came back out with his food on a plate so I don’t know if they dug it out of the garbage or what that is the most gross thing I’ve ever heard of. I complained to the manager he was very condescending. I would never go back here again I’m in the middle of trying to find out corporate number for laundry and I wanna call and complain tomorrow. This is absolutely unacceptable.

    Food service was slower than expected which was surprising given how not busy they were. Most guests were surprised to find there wasn’t a buffet and only a prefix menu of three courses, all inclusive as the only option. Some guests didn’t stay while other tables dined. Despite our food allergy information provided to our server, one side from one dish caused a minor allergic reaction. The dessert had alcohol on out which wasn’t described or detailed beforehand. While the venue is beautiful and the food a step above, this experience was disappointing. Over $200 for three guests was more than desired, planned, or truly worth the experience. Will rethink returning again whether in general or for a special meal.

    Food was okay, not worth the price by any means. We had very poor service. The place was not busy yet our waitress took at least 15 minutes to greet us when she did no apologies for the wait. For an upscale fine dining restaurant I expected far more.

    My boyfriend and I went to Grand concourse last night for New Year's Eve dinner. Instead of their regular menu they had a special menu with some of their popular choices to select from. The food was amazing as always and the place was packed. The only complaints I had was we arrived on time for our reservation, but still waited about 15 minutes before getting our table. After we were seated, we waited another 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. I understand it's a holiday, but the point of a reservation is that the table is normally ready by then. Other than that, the food was worth the wait and our waiter was fantastic! Will be going again next New Years!

    Me and my husband were very disappointed with the Grand Concourse. We have eaten there several times for dinner and brunch and have had a great experience. On New Year's Eve, they only had a limited menu with upgrade charges on certain choices. They were out of several wine choices including our favorite wine (which is not cheap). It was noisy and very rushed. The food was not good and the service was lacking their usual charm. I did take into consideration the fact that it was New Year's Eve, but the place was not even very busy. Several empty tables which is normally not the case. Overall, it was not a good experience especially for what we paid!
