    It was just ok. Nothing special about the menu. We had the fried mushrooms and pork belly as appetizers. Then the butterfish and fish and chips. The taste was very average.

    Great food in a casual atmosphere. Everyone loved their food from my 6 year old grandson to my teenage granddaughter, her parents, and me and my hubby. Went there to cemented my 67th birthday. We came to visit our kids every year... we will be back. $300 for everyone's meal, included 3 apps. Not bad for 6 people. No alcoholic drinks.

    I don’t normally leave reviews, but our experience at Goen was well worth giving a huge shout out. I left a note in my reservation requesting appropriate seating as we had a 1.5yr old baby as part of our dining party and they went out of their way to facilitate our request. Further, adding to the exceptional experience they brought out a cute little quesadilla plate for her to hold her over while we perused the menu. Food was outstanding, we had the butterfish, salmon, short ribs and truffle gnocchi and every dish was *chefs kiss* 🤌🏻 The server was lovely, personable and attentive. Highly recommend making your way to Kailua to check this place out. Will definitely return next time I’m in Hawaii. Thanks guys for an excellent dining experience..
