Not a great experience. They called us in the car on the way there and said they had a corner table set up for us. We walked in ten minutes later and they had given the corner table to someone else and then didn’t know where to seat us. It was way too cold with the fans on high and the music was really loud making it difficult to talk. We had a great meal the first time there and were disappointed that the menu had completely changed. Food was mediocre at best. My sister ordered the shrimp roll and it was two pieces of shrimp chopped up in bread. Completely dry, she didn’t eat it.

Some of the best fish in the city. The love and care in the tartar sauce is amazing. We had the fish sandy and the fish and chips. Both perfectly fried and yummy with strong fries. Great gem

The atmosphere is very bland. Also, there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant and although the waiter was great, he had too much on his plate. I don’t recommend the calamari, too much breading and it was very rubbery.

Horrible first time experience, went for restaurant week. First 2 courses were great but they forgot the main course then when they did rember it they rushed to make it, everything came out sloppy and under cooked. Took over an hr to get our food which was their fish and chips all they said was sorry for the wait.

Go fish wine bar is an inviting restaurant with delicious food! The prices are definitely reasonable, but the taste of the food is to die for! We will definitely be going back!

Go Fish had delicious food. I cannot recommend the crudo or fish and chips enough! I feel badly for giving it 4 stars, but due to the wait on food due to lack of staff, I can’t give it a 5th. It took at least 45 minutes to get any food. They also gave us the oysters after our entrees when we requested a half dozen as an appetizer. The waiters were working very hard, but there were only 2 for a full restaurant. I also wish they had more options for glasses of wine vs. bottles. They did give my husband a beer “on the house” due to the wait.

$1 oysters were not tasty. You get what you pay for.

Having been to other establishments owned by The Carpenters, I was every excited to try this one out. It all started fine. We got a bottle of wine and ordered 2 appetizers and an entree. Upon our arrival & ordering there were only 2 other tables sat. The restaurant started to pick up and more people arrived. It is small, but maybe now at 30-40% capacity. Our waiter avoided us at every turn. Then 45 minutes after we had ordered my friend got up and went to talk to him to inquire about our food. He goes to the back and then walks out with orders for two separate tables that had arrived WELL after we did. When we were clearly flustered he made a comment that the printer must not have worked. Seriously?? It still never occurred to you that we did not have our food?? Complete BS. We had tickets to the theatre that night, so at over an hour in he simply said he would cancel our order and bring our check. Brought it over without an apology or we hope you give us another try or anything. It is a stark change from my experiences at Little Em and Restaurant Claudine, but completely soured my experience. I was truly looking forward to "loving" yet another concept from them, but the feeling was "we don't need your business".
