We do have a lot of fun at Georgia Sea Grill, but we take our commitment to the freshest ingredients very seriously. That's why we grow our own. Only by sourcing our favorite vegetables, fruits and herbs right here at our own Potlikker farm can we be absolutely assured that we are serving nothing but the freshest, healthiest seasonal flavors. Once perfectly-plated with locally-sourced seafood, beef, pork, lamb, poultry, or our own Satilla Ponds farm-raised catfish, you will see and taste the difference that locally-grown brings to the table.

It is currently our favorite on St. Simon’s Island and we eat here frequently. During the high seasonal times of the year you need to make reservations well in advance.

Our server Mackenzie was very friendly & made great suggestions for every course. We started with a Holiday Sangria & calamari—-the calamari was delicious & great sauce. Our main entrees included redfish, flounder & seared scallops. You can chose how your want your fish prepared from 3 different selections. The scallops were huge & came with collards & whir rice peas…the sauce was delicious! Their dessert list is long. We opted for pecan & their special satsuma cheesecake—it definitely felt holiday with a ginger/orange flavor. Enjoy your dinner as all the servers have a great attitude. It’s elevated food in an open & warm environment! I would definitely go back for their small plates of oysters or mussels!

                                                                                                  We had an outstanding dinner once again. Our waiter David was great! We had a large party of seven. One had the braised short rib which was delicious and three of us had our favorite shrimp & grits. So incredibly creamy with just the right amount of spice. Always amazing!! My daughter is a super picky eater. She loved the vegetable ravioli. The others had our favorite fish Tile prepared the Creole way. If you haven’t tried it you will not be disappointed. It’s simply outstanding. Thank you Chef and we’ll see you again soon!

                                                                                                  Georgia Sea Grill has been our favorite on the island for more than 12 years. Great food and service. We love going there with friends and family. Mid week is a great time to go....not so crowded.

                                                                                                  There was a group in the main dining room, so regular customers sat in the bar area. Fine except difficult to hear over the (excellent) piano player. Waiter was efficient. Duck entree excellent but too salty, & carrot side almost raw. Lamb entree, one was very dry (2 of us tried it). Redfish entree also dry. Then, ordered a second, same bottle of wine as first. We were brought a different wine, but same vineyard, already opened. No ask if this change was ok. (We are members of a fine wine club, so we know our wines). They did take off one lamb entree . But overall, food experience was not as it usually is.
