We are proud to share our journey which is Garbatella Osteria Bar. As the first US-based concept from husband-wife duo Saul Plata and his wife Carelma Rodriguez, as well as his partner Antonio and Diana, Garbatella Osteria in Otay Ranch, is the coming together of cultures, of travels, and of a lifetime of experiences. Service is not consistent. I was at the restaurant twice this week, Wednesday and Saturday, and yesterday the service was not good. Also, please stop overdoing the use of chlorine, the smell is too strong.

Restaurant was nice! The Live music was amazing. The food was ok, not worth the price in my option. This is a great place for live music and drinks with friends!

At $125 per person, I wasn’t expecting the main course of steak to be served with French fries. 6 mussels as starters were good but frozen crème brûlée to finish, wow how extravagant

Set $80 menu with limited choices. Felt rushed through courses. Food was lacking of flavor. Asked if we could order off the regular menu, but were told no. Saw other patrons ordering from regular menu. Dessert was dry. Very disappointing!

Made reservations for Christmas eve, arrived and was surprised that there was only limited menu that was $80 a person. I was never told that the menu was like this nor was it advertised on their webpage. When I asked about the menu, I was told that it was in their Instagram. Really? Anyway, we ended up staying because I just didn't want to deal with Christmas eve crowds. When we received our food, my wife play and mine were mixed up. Steak medium and rare were mixed up. I know it sounds petty, but when you're paying for 4 people you would expect better. Disappointed.
