   **A Sunday Brunch Experience at Gabriele’s:** Taking advantage of a free Sunday, I visited Gabriele’s to experience their brunch atmosphere. Here's my review: 1. **Service:** The staff was attentive, very friendly, and respectful of our time at the table. 10/10. 2. **Drinks:** My wife ordered a non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita (5/10). I believe they should add some type of salt on the rim and perhaps some citrus notes to enhance the flavor. The visual appeal of mocktails, which are becoming more popular, could also be improved. I ordered their house Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand) 10/10. Considering the price, I was very satisfied! It was crisp, with notes of pear and mint, which I loved. 3. **Appetizer:** We started with their burrata salad. It's almost a personal tradition to judge burrata salads at the restaurants I visit. Unfortunately, given the price, my expectations were high. It wasn’t bad, but I expected perhaps a larger, fresher burrata, something more artisanal. The one I received was small and didn’t have the fresh, creamy taste I was hoping for—it felt like a typical commercial burrata (BelGioioso). Again, not bad, but for the price, I expected more: 6/10. P.S. There was a price discrepancy: online the dish was listed at $19, but in the restaurant, it was $22. 4. **Main Courses:** My wife had the chicken and waffles. The fluffy texture was a hit, and the fresh berries added a nice touch. But the best part was the mascarpone—10/10. Congratulations to the chef I ordered the steak and eggs (medium). This dish was excellent, especially if you're not looking to splurge on their steak-cutting experience. The flavor of the meat, which is aged for several days, is hard to find elsewhere. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the potatoes were a great accompaniment, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Without a doubt, the best steak and eggs I've had in Connecticut so far. 5. Dessert: Bourbon cheesecake 10/10❤️. Don't order cream cheese gelato it’s no good 🥲

   Unreal experience. Renata, our server, was great. She was kind, knowledgeable, and timely. Absolutely recommend the place for a great steak dinner. Expensive but worth every penny.

   Really top notch Italian steakhouse in Westport. No fewer than 6 birthday celebrations, which makes sense given that this can be a splurge. Steaks are great, as are salads, pastas, etc. Killer giant stuffed baked potato. Over the top service.

   Steaks were completely undercooked, then sent back and overcooked.  Manager offered nothing but a “ thank you for understanding”.

   We had a lovely time last night at Gabriiele's of Westport. The steak was excellent and the wine list was probably the best we have encountered in the Westport/Fairfield area. I don't think you would see a wine list like their in many places around here outside of N We particularly liked the ambiance, its a romantic spot and great for a date night in a very traditional way that contrast nicely with the chic modern look most other places around here go for. It reads to us as a bit more elegant as a result and we certainly will do more date nights there. One thing to note, we sat in the garden room and I did not get a look at the other dining areas that well, they seemed at least as nice but that's a guess. Also, at in our area at least 4 tables were celebrating birthdays, and the staff came out with their signature Napoleon desert (it was yummy btw) with a blazing sparkler inserted on top and about 10 of the waitstaff gather around the table for a rather full throated sining of happy birthday. We got a kick out of it happening 4 times during dinner but it could be a bit much if you are seeking more intimacy, but at least to our mind not a problem. Finally they offer order ahead soufflés for desert and we had the Meyer Lemon soufflé - which was a first for both of us and was a real highlight of the dinner. Gabriele's was a winner on all fronts and we will be back.

   Excellent service and food. Rooms are beautiful and staff is very warm and welcoming- a nice change of pace. Very happy with entire experience.

    If you’re seeking great food, great service and an energetic atmosphere Gabriele’s is the place to be! I had the veal chop with broccoli rabe and my wife had the bone on filet mignon with some mushrooms. Just sorry we didn’t take any pics. Delicious both visually and in taste. Can’t wait to go next time!!
