   A very disappointing dinner. Beware the menus that they give out and make sure to double check with the host that you are being seated with the correct ones. They will not honor the price differences and will call you a liar to your face when you bring up the price difference on the bill. And when paying in cash DO NOT let the server leave the table until you fully count the change they give you. I was shorted $10 and they refused to give me the correct change as “the transaction was already complete”.

   We were running late for our 6:15 reservation so called restaurant to change to 6:45, no problem. As soon as we sat down, the staff filled our water and offered bread while we decided on menu. The noise level is a bit loud for our taste but it was bearable. We ordered fried mozzarella from HH, Pizza Parma, Rigatoni Funghi and 1/2 price bottle of wines. Everything was delicious.

   New branch of our favorite UWS restaurant. Would give this a 5 for consistency! The pastas were just as good as uptown, delicious and plentiful. Rice balls appetizer were also very good. The only reason I gave the food a 4 was the Chicken Milanese was dry. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. This is one of the few restaurants that give a very good meal at what is now considered a very good value in the city. It is not “haute cuisine” but it fits the bill for a competently prepared meal with generous portions and a very nice atmosphere. High,y recommend.

   The food and service are excellent and the value (especially on Monday) cannot be beat! It is very loud, but you can still hear your dining companion. Recommendations include the ‘snack plate’ of prosciutto and parmesan, spaghetti and clams and an old world baked ziti. Cocktails and wine are reasonable too. Highly recommended. I live across the street and this was my first visit but certainly not my last - thanks guys :)

   The fried calamari is amazing, the Fumo burger is perfect, and the penne vodka is okay but not anything exceptional

   Great neighborhood spot for workday lunches with colleagues visiting from out of town. Delicious food, quick and courteous service and a relaxed atmosphere all make for the kind of restaurant that I will keep coming back to in the future.

   First time at Fumo and was mostly a good experience. The food was very good and the service was fine. I arrived first for a party of 3 reservation and even though my table was available, they wouldn’t seat me until the whole party arrived- silly. It’s a tight space and was a full restaurant- so the noise level is quite high- which isn’t helped by the fact that the music is loud so people talk even louder to be heard. I’ll go again because the of food and prices are very reasonable.

    We had a fantastic lunch at FUMO. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning!
