   We had dinner with friends . Holiday drinks were unique and tasty; food was full of flavor too! Great ambiance and exceptional service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   The Chicken enchiladas are excellent. Gigi is a great server. All of the staff is friendly and give a one hundred percent effort to making sure everything is perfect.

   This visit was my second, I find that it’s only just ok…nothing really exceptional…I’ve been to Mexico, I myself am Hispanic and have traveled and have had great Mexican cuisine…this place is beautiful with a nice ambiance, but the food to me is only ok. I had the chicken fajitas and although food didn’t blow me away.

   While the restaurant was not busy, we continue to experience inattentive wait staff when we visit. Last night we had to ask for water three times, our waiter never checked back with us after the meal was delivered, and we had to ask another staff member for our check. The pork belly tacos were tough and chewy but the barbacoa tacos were delicious. Disappointing because we brought out of town guests.

   I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant is nice, we had early reservations. There were very few seated and lots of empty tables. We were seated in a booth next to the kitchen. At one point 5 wait staff were near but no one approached us or brought chips for about 7 minutes. I had to ask to order a drink. I had barbacoa tacos which were incredibly bland. My husband had chicken fajitas which were also bland ( the vegetables were fresh and well done). We normally do cocktails, appetizers, supper, after dinner drinks and dessert on a Friday night. We ate half our meal, boxed the rest and left.

   What a wonderful addition to the Lakewood Ranch community. This is a unique restaurant that adds a touch of ambience with a Mexican flair with extreme variations of exceptional quality wagyu steaks, lamb, and seafood. This is not your typical chain. If you want a superior dining experience, you must try Fuego Comida! The bar menu is superb. Their tequila selection is outstanding. I have been there twice and in that time it has becomes top choice for our family.

   Gigi was a great server and the manager stopped by to check on us which was nice. Guacamole was delicious as were our entrees of tacos and steak. Only disappointment was skillet butter cake that was way too dry and crumbly. Very nice evening.
