A great burger, exceptionally pleasant service and a welcoming ambiance, The French Roast has become one if our faves on the UWS. And I'm certainly not in my own with this opinion! Very popular, even on an early Monday night; reservations recommended.

Very noisy at first, but quieter later. Our server was a lovely young woman who was very pleasant and helpful.

The food is always good and the service outstanding. Our server kept filling our coffee cups and let us stay and relax as long as we wanted even though it was crowded.
