   The kitchen was closed 1 hour after we arrived and nobody told us, and we couldnt ask for more food. And before we were leaving the restaurant, the attendants were sitting in the table counting the bills.

   Dear Ana, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and joining us for dinner on your special night out. In saying this we are saddened that you were not told when you got there at 9:30pm that the kitchen will be closing within the hour of your arrival. As a restaurant, we really believe that we are only as strong as our team, it does appear in this case, that perhaps a team member became a little too comfortable towards the end of the night - and we certainly will address this with them. The guests always need to come first; and we hope that you will grant us the opportunity, next time you are in town, to show you that this is what we are so well known for.    An experience like no other. The food, the service and the ambiance is paramount. Hard to get a reservation so do your best but put this on your bucket list. We will be back.

   We always have a wonderful time at French Alpine Bistro, and this time was no different. We felt very catered to, and well taken care of. When we arrived, our requested table wasn’t ready yet (campers), and they were gracious enough to let us sit at a different table to have a cocktail while we waited. As soon as our table was ready, they immediately told us we were welcome to move if we still wanted to, which we did. This was a much needed date night for us, so we splurged on champagne, caviar, soup al onion, entrees and a crepe for desert. All were impeccably prepared and delicious. And the recommended wine parings were spot on. Fortunately, as long time, “working class” Aspen locals, we never feel second class at the French Alpine Bistro, which is why we will continue to return. We’re also really looking forward to their next wine pairing diner event!

    Absolutely our favorite restaurant in Aspen. The food, service and ambiance are incomparable. It feels like you have been transported to a French/Swiss Alps restaurant.
