   Freddies Kitchen is a gem. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and professional. It's a bit of a splurge but if you're looking for a special meal this is a great choice.

   We held our group family holiday/birthday party at Freddie’s Kitchen this year and we are so glad we did! The planning experience was easy and a pleasure. The chef/owner Freddie guided us with recommendations that suited our needs. The party itself was one of our best ever! This staff was attentive and the food was amazing even serving 20 of us at the same time. We ordered off the menu - with a few surprises and delights the restaurant helped us plan. It has already been decided we will book Freddie’s again next year for our annual party.

   This was our first return to Freddie’s this season. We’ve always had excellent meals here in the past, but this was over the top. My husband and I shared a cocktail, three appetizers and an entree. The Meyer lemon cocktail was far drier than a traditional lemon drop, only adding just the perfect amount to sweetness. Today’s soup special a squash soup was exquisite. With only a dash of cream, it was very smooth and perfectly seasoned. The tartare is a standard. Three dollops of the mixture is always. Order a bread basket. The French bread is perfect and you’ll want to use it to use it to sop up every bit of food. It’s the end of heirloom tomatoes season and what Freddie does with these delicious slices raise them to a new high. Then, our shared entree of black cod, one of the specials, was a perfect preparation allowing the sweetness of this exceptional fish to shine. I wish we had had room for the other special, duck. I know it would have been outstanding as well. We have had most other entrees on the menu in the past and have great memories of the elk medallions and the mushroom Wellington, just to mention a few. Topping everything off was the smooth crème brûlée with its delicious caramelized crust. Freddie leaves the service to Marco who enthusiastically describes each menu item and reflects the quality you’re sure to experience and Freddie spends a lot of time in the dining room, ensuring that diners develop a personalized connection. Ignore the fact that this restaurant is located in what probably is the Cole Hotel’s breakfast room. Within that space, he creates a comfortable setting. It’s a small restaurant and the noise level can get higher as it fills up, but frank, most restaurants these days are much louder. You might be distracted by the conversations of other diners here, but it never gets in the way of the conversation at your table.

   It’s our favorite place to dine in Palm Springs! Cozy and comfortable setting with excellent service and amazing food and delectable drinks. What else could you ask for?

   The thanksgiving special menu was great. The fish ( which is on their regular menu) was amazing! I just wished they had more options for red wine by the glass.

   fabulous food and service at a good price. but your eating in a small, unimaginative room with no tablecloth or cloth napkin.

   Freddie's is a small place with delicious food! Freddie is there cooking it! It was my first time. I will definitely be back!

    We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Freddies Kitchen restaurant in Palm Springs. We greeted by the host was very friendly and polite. Soon after that the owner Fred came by with a sincere holiday greeting. The turkey dinner was delicious and plentiful. We would highly recommend having dinner at Freddies, and remember to make reservations.
