Fraschetta is located in the heart of Bryn Mawr. It is recognized as a 3 bell restaurant by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Roman born Chef Gianluca Demontis creates traditional and contemporary Roman dishes. He has the ability to transform simple dishes into something tasteful and elevated. We use only fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the menu offers a variety of seafood, meats, housemade pastas as well as vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.

Amazing place, food was incredible. The menu changes frequently, and has so much care and creativity in its dishes. The seasonal salad was incredibly refreshing. The Oso Buco was very hearty and flavorful, Fall of the bone tender. Staff could not be more accommodating and personable. Very inviting and warm place. It’s location is an absolute must for dinner and a movie.

This is a diamond in the rough, neighborhood gem with excellent food, and no-frills service. You will feel like you are dining gourmet-style with your neighbors you rarely see because they live in stately homes behind massive hedges.

One of the best meals we have had in a long time, every course was perfect. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Willing to share recipes when asked. parking next door and table ready when we arrived for our reservation.

We really enjoy Fraschetta which makes this review hopefully a 1-off experience. We were seated upstairs in the back. A big screen tv was stuck on a video and classic rock was playing which is interesting for a Friday 7:00 reservation. The service was spotty and the food, usually great, was just ok. I’m hoping this was just an off night as we have had truly positive previous experiences there.

We had a fantastic dinner for my wife's birthday. The service was perfect and the specials, arugula salad and shrimp linguini, were delightful. The ambiance is very relaxed and is perfect for any occasion.
