   Found this gem because our granddaughter named Frankie came to her first Yankee game. Happened to be the World Series but anyway staying in Bronx and wanted great Italian. This was amazing. Every item from burratta to caprese, chicken parm and the best I’ve ever had alla tortufo mushroom pasta Then dessert tiramisu and cannolis. All homemade just delicious. Don’t miss it.

   First time here. We were going to NYBG and I was in charge of finding the restaurant. I took a chance on Frankie’s because honestly it was the only place that took reservations for the time we needed. Everything was great. The calamari was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meal. The Doo Wop singers added a fun twist to our experience. Everyone was happy I chose Frankie’s.

   The staff was very attentive, and everything was delicious! We had the fried raviolis, a chicken Parm, a chicken marsala, and the chicken à la vodka. The “Key to My Heart” signature cocktail was delightful!

   Service can be spotty- waitresses from eastern Europe not sure of the how - ‘perhaps a cocktail before we eat and not after sitting at least 10 minutes’- staff ok but slow to start- water glass stood empty way too long and had to get their attention - we were only 1 of 3 tables at first in the place. Food on the other hand was very very good- Baked Clams - Cacio e Pepe and Lasagna all perfect in their own right.

   Frankie's is an Absolute gem, Very Fresh Calamari for Appetizer and the Pork Chop Martini & Spicy Rigatoni were both amazing. Service was Excellent, Had a wonderful experience and will come back when visiting Arthur Avenue again.

   From the moment we walked in things started going downhill. Very noisy and one room was cold and the other warm. We stayed. That was our first mistake. Food was good but we were told that if we wanted a chicken dish we had to pay extra for spaghetti, I guess this was true of most entrees. Imagine ordering chicken parmigiana and not getting spaghetti?? Prices were unjustified and very high. Pastas were $23 to $28. We ordered only one dessert and it was good but my cappuccino was undrinkable to add insult to injury with their prices they added 4% to the bill to cover credit card charges. That is at least twice what they are charged and there was no notice on the menus. Service started off good but when they started to get busy that changed. Twice I had to get up from the table to find our waiter. Once to bus the table and once to order dessert. Lastly, did I say the decor was early truck stop?

   The food was Fair a quarter of the menu was not even available. Service was horrible and I will never eat there again and certainly will not recommend it.
