   The food was amazing! We loved this restaurant. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

   It wasn’t a bad spot. Bare decor but it was dark and not terrible. Candle light was nice. The waiters were attentive and moved us to a better table bc ours was wobbly. The food was pretty good but we paid $40 for a charcuterie board and they did not even have bread on Valentine’s Day weekend. We paid $50 for a decent steak my only complaint is that the server did not ask/specify temperature and it was rarer than we would’ve liked. We got the lamb ragú which was decent but a disappointing portion for 30$ and while I enjoyed it, I can’t say it’s the best prepared lamb I have had although I prefer chops over the shredded lamb in the dish. It was frustrating that the food took so long to make and we were really hungry. I spent $130 for the 2 of us and we did not even order wine which I’m sure was good, but the value of the restaurant is awful. Im so tired of these pasta places that overcharge for small portions when pasta is so cheap and quick to make. We ended up delivering more food when we got home bc we were still hungry. Pasta was not bad though but probably would not go here again. The search continues for good tasting good value pasta in Nashville.

   Service was excellent and we were seated right away. 2 person tables were very small and if you like bread with your mozzarella or charcuterie then you have to order that separately. Extensive wine selection. My ravioli pasta portion was small compared to my husband’s cavatappi dish. Food was good and they have a pizzeria next door and market to buy their pasta.

   Our server Lauren was phenomenal! We absolutely love Frankie’s. We started going to the Brooklyn location, and when they came to Nashville we were thrilled! They have taken Italian to the next level and the vibe is great. My only comment is that the music is very loud; each time we go we remember how hard it is when having a conversation.

   We love coming to this restaurant. The only criticism I have is that we made a reservation for six and they put us by the main door and so we kept getting cold all night. We were removed from the main room, which is what we were really looking forward to of course the food and service were just wonderful, but we were really missing being part of the main action. My suggestion as the diner is to call and request not to be placed by the door, separated from everybody.

   Frankie’s is hands down the best Italian food in Nashville, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. The hot sausage and cavatelli is life changing.

   Love Frankie’s! Such great place for really any occasion. We love the meatballs, the Cesar and the cold ribeye. The prune mascarpone dessert was also wonderful. Great prices, great portions and even better staff. Always a great experience!
