Frankie J's is a vibrant small bar and pizzaria located in the heart of Devonport at Market Square Pavilion. Renowned for tradtional Italian-style pizzas and pasta, with some local cheeky twists. Fresh, local Tasmanian produce and the finest Italian cheeses, meats and smallgoods on hand-stretched dough are freshly cooked in a bespoke Marana Forni Rotary Oven.

Frankie J's features tap beers, local brews, and ciders along with a wonderful house selection of Tassie wine. The cocktail menu at Frankie J’s is ever-changing, offering something new and exciting on each visit. It is also the home of the Frankie J’s Fluffy Duck, a unique cocktail that has become a local favourite.

Local and guest DJs provide the tunes on the weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere for late-night entertainment.

    Kids eat for fee on Wednesday, they loved sitting at the bar watching the pizzas be made… it wasn’t just dinner it was an experience! Good atmosphere and the staff were all super friendly.

    The system made me rate the food here however we didn’t eat. We were there as a group having drinks - they are quite expensive. $14 for a small glass of wine and $22 for a basic cocktail. We would only ever come again if they had happy hour I think.

    Thanks for the review anyway, anonymous! Our house wines are predominantly Tasmanian and priced accordingly. Our basic cocktails actually start at $16, and range up to $25, depending on complexity and quantity of ingredients. We do currently run a Happy Hour on Fridays from 3-5pm with all house wines for $10, and schooners of tap beer for $7, so if you're ever in the neighbourhood please drop in. Cheers, Frankies.
