Foxlow has taken over the ground floor and basement of a former office building just off Golden Square at 8-10 Lower James Street, W1F 9EL.
The lively interior and atmosphere reflects the location, whilst also retaining the familiarity of the trusted, comfortable local – perfect for everything from fun dinners with friends and family gatherings, to a leisurely brunch armed with the weekend papers.
Foxlow Soho will be open daily for lunch and dinner in addition to weekend brunch, which will include the famous Fried chicken, egg & croissant waffle. Theatregoers and value-seekers will love the set menu and on Tuesday nights (as with all Foxlow restaurants) customers will be able to bring their own wine, corkage free. Weekend brunching will take place from 10am – 3pm with several new brunch cocktails alongside bottomless Bloody Marys. And Sundays at Foxlow are well known for roasts, either Beef with all the trimmings or the new Chicken pot roast.

I don't know if it's just because the restaurant is closing, but the ambiance was a bit fraught, and the tables were put so close together that it was hard to maintain a conversation. Food was good and nice to have some seasonality too.

Relaxed, informal and fun Soho restaurant. Short but well thought out menu. All dishes we ordered were delicious and perfectly cooked. Great value for its location and quality.

After trying loads of different places in Soho for lunch with friends, it's always lovely to come back to Foxlow. We had to make an event of it last Saturday, as it is closing down permanently this Thursday, which is a great shame. I hope I can visit one of their other restaurants soon, but it's going to be sad not to be able to use them for our lunch meets anymore.

I wish I could recommend! So sad it is closing.. I will miss this restaurant very much. The staff are amazing.. the kitchen great. Their cocktails knocked most bars out of the park.. Foxlow Soho was perfect for any date I had. I have no idea where I will go for a post work catch up now... I work in The City.. so great to mooch to the West End during the week! Argh.. Please if you can, re-open another Foxlow in the soho area soon..

We ate at Foxlow Soho at 6.45pm. A party of three, two of us arrived early to avail of the £5 cocktails before 7pm. We had another one before our friend arrived. Service was attentive but not overbearing and all the food delicious. Only downside was being downstairs which was a little quiet and the second time I’d been seated downstairs.

Everything was slightly disappointing, from the 90 minute reservation slot to the happy hour cocktails. Our waitress was unfriendly and sarcastic. The steaks were very average and we expected a lot better having dined at Hawksmoor. All in all, very “meh”.
