Welcome to The Fox & Hounds pub in Batley, near Dewsbury in West Yorkshire - a traditional public house that sits at the heart of the local community. The Fox & Hounds is everything a British pub should be, with a wide choice of Cask Marque accredited real ales, our food menu features all your pub favourites, including steaks, burgers and much more! If you're looking for a pub near The Mill factory outlet shopping centre or somewhere for a refreshing drink after a stroll in the park around Green Hill Beck or a round at Hanging Heaton Golf Club, this is the place to head - there's plenty of parking and we have a beer garden too. You took our table booking but the fox and hounds was shut

Booking system doesn’t work so pub wasn’t expected us. No food being served. Unapologetic staff verging on rude throughout.

Although the bartender was attentive, the Sunday we visited they weren't serving their Sunday menu. There were plenty of other choices but the older childrens' portions were small and the beef burger ordered was overcooked and dry, as was the buttermilk chicken. Not a place we would return to.
