We had a Mother’s Day breakfast at the Four Bells. The food was hot and tasty and the service was excellent. I had American pancakes with cream and maple syrup and my daughter had bacon on a gluten free brioche bun. Charlie, Jake and the team create a lovely atmosphere in the place and we would highly recommend eating at the Four Bells.

Had very good service from staff. Food was well prepared and tasty. Could have a larger menu but realize times are difficult for pubs.

Had Sunday lunch and the food was very enjoyable including a delicious Creme Brulee. The service was efficient and the staff were friendly. The only small complaint is that there was no wine list and so the waitress had to tell us what was available.

It was our first visit to the venue and as a group of four we all enjoyed our meal and the level of service we experienced. We all said we would definitely return to the pub again.

We were sat by an old metal framed, single glazed window with an opening section that would not fully close. When mentioned to the man behind the bar he said that all the windows closed properly! Due to the cold draft we had to relocate. I ordered the 48 hour shortrib for £19 and it was very small. The bubble and squeak bon bon was not much bigger than a chicken's egg and the carrot was a slice about a quarter of an average sized carrot. When we mentioned to the waitress that the portions were way too small she just said sorry and did nothing. My wife and I ordered the small fish. Both arrived as the tail section of an average-sized fish cur in half. Again disappointing. We would normally have a desert but did not stay. The fabric (leatherette?)of the bench seating in places was disintegrating.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We regret the discomfort caused by the draft and will check the windows to ensure all guests are comfortable. We also appreciate your comments on portion sizes and seating conditions—your concerns will be reviewed with our team. Our goal is to provide quality food and a welcoming atmosphere, and we apologize for falling short. We’d love the chance to make it up to you—please feel free to reach out to us directly

Delicious Sunday Roast. Chicken for him with pigs in blankets, Nut Roast for me with cauliflower cheese. Friendly staff. Took order quickly and not too long for feed to arrive. Very tasty.
