   The online menu is not correct. The restaurant has complete changed its cuisine. It’s some very poor version of Asian inspired. Horribly. Our server told us that he has asked the owners to update the online menu to reflect the change. Anyway - run don’t walk - away - unless you like overcooked and fried food with an Asian fair.

   This was a terrific find. We were at Shepaug Dam watching for eagles and got hungry… what luck that the Foundry Kitchen & Tavern is located nearby in the center of the charming village of Sandy Hook. It’s also about two minutes off I-84 if you happen to be driving by.

   We love the Foundry. Service had some hiccups at the bar but our server was in communication with us. Had really good meals— everyone raved. Nice evening, thank you.

   I love Foundry. This wasn’t my 1st visit and won’t be the last. Attentive service, delicious food and such a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. My friends and I were discussing how much we love French fries, and the bartender overheard and brought us a basket of them. It was so thoughtful and kind.

    Wonderful Vegan options for my friends while I found the perfect dish for myself! Wine was great, dessert was fantastic and unique and delicious martini!
