The name "Former Saint" pays homage to the rich history of our location. In 1864, three pioneering Sisters of Loretto journeyed from Santa Fe to Denver to establish St. Mary’s Academy, which operated until 1910. Inspired by this pioneering spirit, our menu celebrates Colorado's adventurous spirit with thoughtfully crafted dishes and a commitment to sustainability. Our server, Dakota, was excellent although it being New Years Eve had many tables to attend to which limited his ability to at times provide timely attention to all customers. Dakota was very personable & very helpful with his discriptions of menu items Food was very good with the menu providing vegen & vegetarian alternatives. The venue is modern, upbeat & spacious. A bit noise for casual conversation. We'd definitely return.

Not really worth the high price. Food was only so so, our charcuterie board was insanely overpriced and took 40 minutes to come out.

My friend recommended we have Christmas dinner at a restaurant, and we found Former Saint offered one. They had a set 4-course menu with plenty of options based on what you like to eat. I assumed the portions would be small since they were providing 4 courses, but the portions were quite large and the food was delicious! I was very pleasantly surprised. In addition, our server was wonderful! She offered to take pictures of us, and checked in with us just the right amount. The fixed menu was a good price, but after our experience I believe it was a great value! It is very likely we will go back again next year.

I was excited to dine here, but it absolutely was the worst dining experience from a quality of food standpoint I’ve ever had in Denver. Food was bland, cold, lacked flavor, and was inadequately prepared.
