Lunch is always an excellent experience, great choices and a quiet atmosphere. Service is always very good. And a plus at lunch is that parking is available. Highly recommended Forked on Main.

I have eaten here several times and the food has been excellent. This time, I had the spinach salad and it was very unsatisfactory. The spinach was terrible. Not tender baby spinach usually in salads - this was tough and difficult to chew. I ate about a third. My husband had a cheddar burger and fries. Both were delicious!

I love traveling to Orange to eat in this restaurant. It’s cosy, welcoming, modern, the food is delicious and we get to visit the small town where my family was brought up. The cocktails are amazing and the bar side is fun to hang out in as well as the comfortable seating and beautiful charm and warm ambiance of the main dining room . Even the restrooms are decorated with care down to the small details. I brought my partner for his bday bc he couldn’t stop thinking about the burger w bacon jam that he had last year!

What an amazing experience! When we walked in the door, we were greeted like old friends. The craft cocktails were exquisite, and the Tuna tartare was delicious! This was our first time, dining at Forked on main, and it will not be our last! If you haven't been here, please go ASAP. What a treat for the town of Orange!

Food continues to be good, but the service has deteriorated. The servers are competent and professional, but they are clearly stretched too thin. Over 30 min to deliver food after ordering. Really unfortunate.

My family and I live in separate towns but Orange is a solid halfway point. Adding an hour of travel to get to this dinner put an even bigger damper on our overall experience at Forked on Main. Our server was friendly enough but rarely checked on us, which was mind-blowing considering we were the only table in there aside from customers at the bar. We ordered the crab bisque, fried olives, and chicken wings as appetizers. The bisque was slightly cold and for 6 dollars we got maybe a teaspoon of crab meat. At $7, the fried olives were ok, but nothing to write home about. The 13-dollar chicken wings were undercooked so we sent those back. They kindly took it off our tab as "complimentary." I ordered the chicken skewer meal. The description leads one to believe (especially for 27 dollars) that you get a large meal. The chicken pieces were small and burnt (three skewers when I was told there were four). The bed of orzo pasta salad was over-salted and the entire meal itself simply lacked any flavor. I boxed it all up and just threw it away at home. My parents ordered the shrimp and grits at $26 and the shrimp risotto at $29. The risotto was undercooked (literally crunchy) the shrimp in the shrimp in grits was overcooked. At this point, we were just being polite. Our tab was 250 dollars, we graciously left an 18% tip. We understand it wasn't the server cooking our food but as a I mentioned they barely checked on us. If you're going to charge that much for food, and present your restaurant as "fancy" with the aprons, black outfits, and curved plates, why not just make the food good? I have over a decade of service industry experience and this is the first review I have ever left online. Maybe we came on an off day...but it was substantial enough for me to leave this. Hope this helps!

Always a favorite of ours on a Woodberry visit weekend! A warm welcome greets you when you arrive, often with a personal visit from one of the owners at some point throughout your meal. The ambiance is classy casual and the menu has a ton of variety. Whether you want a burger and wings, or tuna tartar and muscles- it’s all there and it’s all delicious!
