   Service was horrible and when a shift change happened servers just stopped coming to our table. When we spoke to a manager she had some guy wait on us and he didn’t seem too happy to have to be our server. Only second time being there because our first experience was also not the best. Food was good but not worth going back for anymore

   We ate at Fogo de Chão on New Year’s Day to start our 2025 and it was very good. The restaurant was busier than I expected but the three of us had a reservation so not to worry. The staff brought my 101 year old mother the salt-free lamb chops that she always requests which were a bit overcooked but still tender and delicious. My friend and I enjoyed the other various cuts of beef, and we all enjoyed the salad bar and the sides… especially the little cheese breads. We’ve tried the cheese breads at other Brazilian restaurants but the best ones are at Fogo. The only negative was the very last cut of meat for me which was a chunk of picaña instead of a slice. It was very fibrous and hard to cut but I suppose that was because it was a remaining portion of the meat instead of a sliced piece. Other than that, we had a very good experience once again and we will be back! P.S. I forgot to take any pictures this time because I was enjoying the food a little too much.

   We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and you guys was very accommodating. We decided to switch up our normal location we go to since we wanted to watch the fireworks and not rush downtown to see them. Kim our server was AMAZING! She started us off with the “French 25” a nice spin to celebrate 2025. The food was excellent and seasoned very well. The cheese and honey, I’ve never experienced but it was delicious. To cap off the evening we were served a complimentary dessert with Happy Anniversary! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!!

   Poor service from front desk to leaving. Had reservation at 6:30. Arrived at 6:10. Noticed many tables were open. Total of 6 parties of various numbered people walked in off street and were taken to their table before me. I believe it was because I was only in a party of 2. At 6:26 I finally asked the girl at the front desk if they had forgotten I was there. She responded that my reservation was at 6:30 and not before. At 6:40 I was finally taken to table. Table waitress worked like this was her first job waitressing. Very, very slow. Finally had to get up and get our own plates myself for the meat courses. Food was adequate. Nothing special. Salad bar is not what I would call standard. Actually, Golden Corral has better salad bar. Meats were of good variety in type and temperature. HEB quality however. Nothing special. No shrimp cocktail which was offered on my previous visit. View was very good as they gave us a table facing Riverwalk. Price was okay for downtown San Antonio. Overall, because of the service, don't think I will return.

   We did have to wait longer than usual, it wasn't very busy, so I was surprise...overall we love going to Fago for days, anniversaries etc..

   Our server was horrible. She even had a partner helping her and neither of them were worth it. Fortunately, the tip was not on our check so we could tip appropriately. However, it didn’t excuse her rudeness and lack of service for our table. For paying $45 for lunch, she should have done better!
