   Made reservations for 5:00. Place was and absolute zoo; waited for 45 minutes then left. Had impression they intentionally overbook.

   I’ve been to Fogo Chicago several times and this was my first time at the Rosemont location. It’s a beautiful building and nice decor inside however the service and food selections do not match. Our waiter greeted us one time to take a drink order then never visited our table again. Another waiter who seemed to be checking everyone’s sections came and visited us after being there for 40 minutes. We informed him we still had not received our drinks to which it still took another 20 minutes before we received them. That’s just drinks… Food, we were greeted 6 times in a row for some Parmesan pork, 3 times for chicken thighs, and the same bacon wrapped sirloin 4 times before we got to see a top sirloin. You’d swear the bird flu we’ve been hearing about changed into mad cow disease the way this steakhouse was missing all the cuts.

   Horrible absolutely horrible I had an appointment at 10:15 PM. They signed me down 30 minutes later at 10:45 then I had to pay valet when I didn’t even get to eat they placed me against the wall pressing into my forearm. Then I called in later to receive a complimentary dinner for the inconveniences. The manager hung up the phone on me. He was extremely disrespectful. He asked for evidence. I told him my table number he said no, so I’m not gonna be doing anything for you when I asked him to go look at the table because he asked for evidence to show that I was sitting uncomfortably and he disregarded it !!! Pathetic worse service ever  the hostess promised me two options that either we come back and they’ll sit us down right away or come back Sunday with a complementary meal I was promising and I never received horrible service. I would never go here again Stay as far away as you can!!!!

   We made reservation for 7pm. Restaurant overbooked their reservation and we weren’t able to be seated. Terrible experience.

   Second time we’ve been here and first time was a better experience. Though it was Valentine’s Day, there was no special pricing and we thought that was a bit steep for the overall experience. Food was okay but most was overly salty. Service was alright took awhile to get some items. Again understand it was busy but overpriced.

   We made a reservation at 6:30 and arrived at 6:20. The place was packed. You had to get in a line that was all the way to outside just to check in for the reservation. Luckily there was a bar by the front so we got some drinks to make time. The bartender did a great job. I highly recommend trying the premium caipirinha - passion fruit. We waited for over an hour to get seated. The tables were so close to each other it was hard to have a conversation and be able to hear each other. Tables were wobbly. Our waiter was polite and attentive, can’t complain about that. The meat and salad bar was good, I recommend pairing with the cheese and honey they offer. They then brought out and offered dessert. It was good but we later found out it wasn’t included and was an additional charge- we weren’t made aware. Overall for what we payed I was really hoping for a better experience.

   Food is great like always. Don’t recommend coming during Valentines Day even if you have a reservation. They were prioritizing walk ins instead of those with a reservation.

   Team did a great job on Valentine’s Day, it was very busy, but I had no complaints. The service and food was great!

    Ive been to different fogo locations and also was a chef for 7 years on a night like valentines day i applaud the level of dedication the staff had it wasnt the best experience but they got it done ill go again when its not a holiday lol
