   The brunch buffet was outstanding. Beautifully decorated, displayed , great selection of dishes. A little cramped to get around but worth the small wait.

   Overall fantastic and our server David was just outstanding. We got moved to the area we wanted to sit and that was very accommodating by the restaurant!

   The food tastes very good. But for what you pay it’s definitely not worth it. One entre was like an appetizer portion size. I paid an extra $5 to substitute mash puree instead of fingerling potatoes (which you only get two tiny fingerling potatoes) and I got this tiny little fancy dollop. Looked like an icing topper on a cupcake. But I’ve had more icing on a cupcake. The flavour overall was nice. But my Demi glaze was split. Also, my boss got a $80 waygu beef dinner and her cut of meat looked like a cut of meat that you would find in a frozen dinner. Almost exactly the same portion and size of a patty on a McDonalds burger. It looked very unappetizing and she said it wasn’t very good. It was super thin and her veggies on the side were undercooked. I ordered a glass of wine at the beginning of our sit down at 7pm and not once did the server come around afterwards to ask if we would like more drinks and fill our waters. Just came to clear plates. And we were there until 9:15pm. Overall. The best part about the experience was that the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. It was beautiful and well decorated for the season. For the price, I would have went to Chairman’s steakhouse. Better value and a lot “fancier” if you are looking for a “fancy” dinner place.

   One of our favourite places to get together with friends who live in Cochrane, nice country setting and never disappoints for good food and service . Our server Cammy was excellent and highly recommend the roasted chicken or one of their cuts of beef.

   Order the tomahawk because we have a visitor from BC to show case the steak we have. Unfortunately, despite the premium price we paid, the steak came out being blue rare instead of medium rare. Surprised, it was even serve to us. We have to send it back. Server probably realized she’s not going to get a good tip. Never attend to us for water after that. I had to ask for another person for water. Server finally came back with the bill. Had to ask for more water. Wasn’t a great experience which is unfortunate. We will not come back again. Still give the server 18%. On hind sight, she shouldn’t even get that much. We were there on Wednesday Dec 11th 6pm. Additionally, the table we have was loop sided and not level. So the girls have to have the tomahawk platter in a cramp space. Another table also have the same tightness and the same server offer to move them to a bigger table. Odd how we didn’t offer that option before that.

   Improvement from previous experience. Would like to see the PEI mussels to be fresh not frozen especially for the caliber of this restaurant and cost of the appetizer, the flavour profile of the sauce was exceptional. The Bison Sirloin was delicious with ample amounts of food. Mixed reviews for my spouse's halibut dish, sauce was bland and fish was dry/overcooked.

   We went out to celebrate and enjoy a special girls’ night. Highs: The waitress was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Lows: Despite making a reservation well in advance, we were seated near the bar, which unfortunately diminished the experience. There was a party in an adjoining room, but many of the guests chose to linger at the bar instead of staying in the room. This led to constant disruptions—people bumped into our chairs, waved hands over our table, and even brushed against us with their purses. The noise was excessive, and to top it off, a cold draft from the front doors made the atmosphere less comfortable. It was disappointing that no one should have been seated at that table under these circumstances. We did mention the issue to our waitress, and while her service remained excellent, the only resolution offered was a single comped dessert on a $600 bill. By the time the other guests finally moved into the adjoining room, our night was essentially over, and we were ready to leave. While the food and service were great, the seating and lack of proactive management made the experience far less enjoyable than it could have been.
