Fiume opened in 2013 and is located in Compton, Owners Stefano and Carla welcome you to enjoy quality, modern interpretations of classic dishes inspired by their home regions of Sardinia and Basilicata.

As Italians we are passionate about everything we do and food and drink are hugely important to our culture as we meet with friends and family to enjoy our time together. At Fiume you will experience a little of this culture as we share it with you. We provide authentic Italian cuisine with a southern Italian influence and a fresh twist.

We are proud to be an independent, family-run, Italian bar and restaurant offering you a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere. During the good weather, you can also dine alfresco whilst watching the passing canal boats and your family dog can watch with you too.

Wonderful night, starters were amazing. Mains were absolutely delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive, the service was outstanding. Will definitely return.

Lovely evening with friends. The antipasti was huge I had to take half of it home. Main course was delicious. There was a lovely bustling atmosphere.

Food was absolutely excellent, very fresh and flavourful. All staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. Definitely need to book since there's very limited tables, and a time limit on length of stay.

Simply one of the best places you could find to eat. Amazing people and food. Service was exceptional and the food was another level especially when the restaurant was so busy. Thank you for looking after us. Will always return.

Great food, great service. The team at Fiume work hard to create a point of difference and always deliver excellence. Don't book a table if you are looking for budget priced food and glossy chain pub menus but do book if you are looking for a different experience that never fails to deliver (just be prepared to book in advance as there will be a waiting list).

First visit and really impressed. The atmosphere is great and the service both very efficient and friendly. As for the food...best pasta I've eaten outside Italy. We had 4 different starters and enjoyed them all. Can't comment on the dessert as we didn't really have room for them. We are really looking forward to our next visit...it really won't be long!

Excellent quality food in a delightful setting. Freshly cooked and food arrived within a short time. Very good personal and attentive service. I cannot fault it. We will definitely be returning.
