   Wish we weren’t seated in the walkway area by the kitchen, it made it a tiny bit annoying when someone was walking by every second. Otherwise food was AMAZING and our waiter was awesome as well!! Would definitely go again!

   Made a reservation for New Year's Eve. We were a little early before our reservation time (maybe 15-20 min), and they said it'd be about 10 min for our table to be ready. We headed over to the bar, which wasn't packed, surprisingly, but steady business. We didn't wait long to be served, and were happy when informed Happy Hour prices in effect all day on our drinks (only at bar). When they hadn't called us for our table and our reservation time had arrived my husband went to the front desk to ask about it, and they informed him it was ready. He came and got me and we were directed to what has to be one of the worst tables in the place. It's right in front of the kitchen/under stairwell storage area they use regularly. My husband had asked if they had a better table and we were told no. He will never dine here again after that. It was loud, and when our server appeared we couldn't even hear them over the noise. Having made a reservation and being a Landry's Select member, we would've thought they could have done better. Nothing against the server, and the food was ok. It won't keep me from going again, but I'll insist on a better table next time even if I have to wait longer, and I'll let management know if I'm made to wait ridiculously long for a decent table.

   The table by the window was nice. We did not enjoy the gumbo, shrimp po’boy nor the burnt crab cake specialty. Gumbo was watery. The fries and shrimp on the po’boy was fine, but the bread tasted old and sauce was lacking in taste. The crab cake had a burnt layer, a stuffing rather than crab base and lacked flavor. It is not worth the money. We did not enjoy the experience at all. This is our worst seafood restaurant experience in the Landry’s chain.

   December 25, 2024: Merry Christmas! We had the best Clam Chowder ever and delicious Fish and Chips with four large pieces of crispy battered fresh fish on a pile of French Fries. (We split that and glad we did!) Fast efficient service with a well-trained waitress. We had a harrowing drive through Houston and thought the day was ruined. Eating here (with reservations!) redeemed the day and turned around a bad situation. Remember, three or more mega ships depart from here so make reservations as far in advance as you can. We got there at 5PM and a few tables were empty. By the time we left, an hour later, there was a long list waiting for a table.

   First of all, thank you so much Fisherman's Wharf for being open on Christmas day! Upon arrival for our reservation, we were welcomed by a wonderfully upbeat Host, quickly seated and then served by a gracious and attentive Server named Kaitlyn. The food and drinks were top tier! The whole experience from start to finish ran like a well oiled machine! Kudos to your staff! They were outstanding!! Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous 2025!!

   Love that I had a place to go for Christmas. The staff was enthusiastic offering suggestions, and the view was perfect. I ordered the Salmon with a salad and veggies. I wasn't impressed with the Presentation.. especially for the price.. BUT, everything else was wonderful.. So if you're not one who minds getting "a plate of food" for $38.. compared to an art piece to wow you...then this place is perfect.. If you care about how it looks, and the way it makes you feel for the money you're dropping.. then maybe try Katie's seafood house a couple doors down instead..
