The kitchen is the heart of the Campbell house which is why we created an expedition kitchen so customers can see all of the love and hard work that goes into our dishes. firefly's vision is a sustainable one; the frame of the building is recycled steel, all of the barn wood is reclaimed as is much of our furniture, the pond irrigates our gardens which greatly reduce our carbon footprint along with all the trash that comes with packaging food, we compost, are constantly upgrading our energy efficiency and NEVER use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our garden.

    Fire fly is always excellent. Tonight we had the wedge salad, shrimp risotto, and the beef short ribs. Everything is fresh, excellently presented and the flavor is complex but well balanced. Everything bite is a wonderful experience. Kim did a wonderful job serving us. And the drinks were also on point. We always dine here when we are in the area.

    Celebrated wedding anniversary and Service was top-notch. Ahi tuna was excellent and the shrimp purses for appetizer were fantastic. My husband had the special short rib and it did not disappoint! Our favorite place to celebrate a special occasion from California to New York and it happens to be in our backyard. How lucky are we!

    Food was outstanding but it would be nice to have bread/roll served with your meal. If you want bread you have to pay for specialty bread. I suggest you have your alcoholic drinks elsewhere as their drinks are ridiculously overpriced, $16 for a vodka on the rocks, I did not pay that much in Chicago. Our waiter and all staff deserve very high marks!

    We ate here while passing through the area. The reviews are spot on. Food was excellent although pricey (like everywhere else these days). Alcohol in particular was costly for a glass of wine. We had bangers & mash, and steak. Both prepared perfectly and quite tasty. Server was friendly and attentive. Overall it is a great restaurant. We'd come back next time we are in town.

    We had pork porterhouse and 8oz filet, both we absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic. Both we cooked perfectly. Wish it was closer to our house so we could go there more frequently. Worth every penny.
