   Our food was lukewarm, the bake potato wasn’t kinda hard and the mashed potatoes weren’t too good. The steak and salmon with lobster was good.

   It is Holiday Season, and understandably eateries are very busy and most likely understaffed. Overall service was very good. Event a visit by the manager to help out with a lost salad. We had 6 in a booth and it was crowded. This was a negative. Food overall was ok, but for the price point, the bar needs to be raised a bit.

   We went as a group of four for a business lunch to Firebirds. Though the restaurant was busy, the service was very good and the food was served promptly. Overall Firebirds was a good choice for lunch.

   This was our first time coming back to Firebirds in a while and we remember usually loving it but this time it seemed to really miss the mark. The food quality didn’t seem to be as good, steaks came out very undercooked, almost raw looking, and burgers pretty bland and dry from what we remember— especially for $17. I will say I opted to add a salad with my burger, which was a $7.50 up charge that felt extreme... and I’m not sure if it’s because they forgot my salad or not but the side salad I got was HUUGGE. So, definitely splittable if you’re debating one. I guess worth the $7.50 up charge if you’re sharing? Our server was fine but we were at a small table and she let dishes pile up and rarely came by to check on us. So if we needed extra ketchup or if your food wasn’t right, the chances of you getting it were slim. It was also hard to get the attention of anyone in there. Flagging down another server for help or even grabbing a beer at the bar….it was like you were invisible. And it wasn’t that the bar was so busy, they were just more preoccupied with their side work and chatting with each other to acknowledge you. They also had old recorded football games on the tv for some reason. I noticed people watching the live games on their phones which I thought was weird. Overall, for what we paid, we didn’t feel like the service we had and food was worth the price in the end. Especially if you were trying to dine for a special occasion like we were, it all just really fell flat. Bummer, because we really used to love this place, but it’s not what it used to be so I’m not sure we will be returning.
