   Really good,bourbon cake good have been warmed more.pork board good Cesar,good gumbo,could have been little thicker roux.overall nice change

   Pretty good restaurant. Very lively and having an open bar makes things very exciting for the guests. Great tasting food as well.

   I have gone to File Gumbo Bar on my last three visits to NYC. On every visit, the food has been delicious. I have tried a new dish on every visit and has never been disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   Wow! What a phenomenal find on our very last night in New York. The staff was so accommodating, communicated very well, and so very kind . I was seated before my reservation. The service was top tier. Food took a little bit to come out but I excepted it as it was a packed house. It was definitely worth the slight wait. Everything came out hot and fresh and very delicious. Ambiance was very jazzy with a live musician playing music in the background, of course the music increased the chatter in the room but it wasn’t obnoxious and set the mood for a lively ambiance. Everyone seemed happy to be there and satisfied with the overall experience. I know we were. We even made friends with the lovely couple next to us. (Thanks for sharing your coffee haha) 10 out of 10 would recommend!

   This is my favorite NYC restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here. The food and beverages were on point the staff was fantastic. When the cake was delivered wait staff serenaded me happy birthday. A great way to start my special day topped off by great music at a local jazz club.

   Celebrated pre birthday dinner for daughter . Service , Food, Atmosphere A+ rating , you think you were on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. You will not regret, book a reservation !
